Sheree Murphy joins Hollyoaks as Anita Roy's mom Tania:). Looks like this producers is getting in people who can act rather than going on looks, still has his work cut out in sorting out the mess it's been left in though:shocked:.

The acting is general is bad. Its like they got models/people off the streets and gave them scripts. They aren't actors, what separates them from anyone else standing in front of a camera saying words?

Hollyoaks is an insult to the art of acting.

Damn right they should be unsettled:D, the guy has a harsh reputation and there is going to hopefully be a cull of the deadwood in the cast:).

It's gotten so bad, tried to watch it the other day but just couldn't :/

One of the teens has a Twenty Twenty poster up in their room, and they played Underdog by YMA6 in one episode<3 that makes me actully love hollyoaks even though i don't watch it:P

Well the new producer's episodes don't start till the summer at least:D, you'll have to watch soon with all this deadwood apart from a few good characters leaving lol.

Usually like I can jump in and out of it pretty easy and it's usually alright, but this time yeah it's really having a bad patch. And Jaqui and that Geordie guy really really annoy me, the whole 'on off' thing. Getting very boring.

It's getting quite dull, It's ussually one of the few soaps I'll watch consistently but it's just so boring, I'm guessing it's gonna pick up soon though the with Holly Storyline returning to the forefront and the story threads coming together for the Flashforward episode.

Frankie and Loretta are worried about Jake next week, as he still hasn’t returned home. Little do they realise that he’s shacked up in a caravan with a woman named Caroline, a nurse from the psychiatric hospital.

It turns out that Caroline got in contact with Jake after reading about his involvement in Holly’s disappearance in the local paper. And Jake certainly seems to be enjoying playing happy families with the nurse.

After Jake and Caroline sleep together, it looks like they’re much closer than a nurse and her former patient should be. But just what exactly is Caroline up to?

Jake starts to panic when he realises his phone is missing and he’s unable to call home. But when he confronts Caroline about it, she turns nasty – and ties him up.

Paying Frankie and Loretta a visit, Caroline lies and tells them that Jake just needs some time out to get his head together. But when she realises that Loretta is his girlfriend, she doesn’t seem very happy...

Meanwhile, Jake has managed to escape from Caroline’s makeshift prison, and is heading back to the village to warn Loretta. But when he gets a call to go to the hospital, it looks like a showdown is on the cards.

He arrives at Holly’s bedside to find that Caroline has lost the plot, and taken Loretta captive. Can he save his girlfriend from the nutty nurse’s clutches?

Elsewhere in the village, Sasha is stunned to hear that another girl has been mugged, fearing it’s the same man who attacked her. Realising the severity of the situation, she finally opens up and tells Calvin about her ordeal.

When Carmel later spots Calvin coming out of the station, she asks him what he was up to. But she’s left frustrated when he clearly lies to her – little does she realise he’s just looking out for Sasha.

Fearing that Calvin is up to his old tricks again, Carmel seeks advice from sister Mercedes – and lets slip that her former husband left Warren to die in the Loft fire.

Still angry at Calvin for dumping her, Mercedes goes straight to Sasha to tell her all about his involvement in Warren’s death. Sasha can’t believe he would do something like that – and demands that Leo throw him out of the house.

With Lauren also threatening to walk out if Leo doesn’t take a stand, the dad has no other choice but to ask his son to leave. Calvin’s gutted, especially as it looks like his relationship with Carmel is over for good this time, too.

Calvin heads to the Loft to drown his sorrows, and bumps into Theresa, who’s also in a bad mood. As the two of them compare their woes, one thing leads to another, and they’re soon kissing...

Theresa is delighted as things get steamier between the pair. But how will Calvin feel when he wakes up in the morning and realises he’s bedded yet another member of the McQueen clan?

Mmm if I can be arsked I will start watching Hollyoaks. I just watch it when Im there at the time when it is on though. I used to watch it all the time last year.. up to Warren's death and then it wasn't as good.

HO really has gone downhill under Lucy Allen:(.. Calvin and Theresa like WTF:shocked:.

Duncan really needs to pee off lol, his birthday party was just dire:rolleyes:.

I think the new producer Paul Marquess will sort out the rot:thumbs:.

True but he did produce some decent work.. not his decision them programmes were to go;). C4 seem loyal to HO anyway although it will probably be axed some time in the future who knows?:(.
