labour - conservatives or neither < who are you voteing for

i was watching david c on news last night adressing his party and i am sure his nose was growing lol but i do understand the brown is not way better. we need a new party to sort out this countrys problems? i can not see the turn out being big come the general elcection.

who are you lot on big brother message board voteing for and why ?

labour or conservative or neither

the battle has began,
swords have been drawn,
who's going to govern,
let me tell you who should be in sworn.
none,
there both as bad as each other,
filthy dirty liars,
i see through there cover.
we don't need this sort,
political change is still my frustration,
i just want a party to sort out,
tax, the n-h-s and immigration.
i did have high hopes for labour,
tony blair was my political introduction,
that was until he was tarnished with iraqi,
then began the unfair labour destruction.
brown took over,
but he has not got a clue,
his core supporters, the ones that struggle,
doubling there tax did even turn the rich blue.
and before labour,
over 20 years of conservatives made me sick,
labour and conservatives need to be gone,
and quick.

Neither.

In my constituency the two biggest parties are the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. Apparently UKIP are on the rise, too.

Now here's the thing - generally I'm a Conservative and have fairly conservative leanings. However I'd say I was closer to the centre of the left/right scale than the right - so I'm generally a fan of neo-conservatism.

Unfortunately, I think Cameron is basically Blair 2.0 but without the charm and with a history of ignorant voting. He's voted against gay adoption and civil partnerships in the past, and whilst he has a face of saying his views have changed, I don't buy it.

So for me it's better the devil you know and I'd rather Labour stayed in power - but I'll probably vote Lib Dem if at all.

dirtyvileHARRYuk 01-03-2010 09:28 PM

shaun < i would but libs dont stand a chance < they need a massive turn arould and for people to go out and vote them.

I posted this in the other thread too but this thread seems more relevant.

Joe really is a
lovely fellow,
on this forum
his threads are mellow.
He always has a
question to give,
you must have an answer
wherever you live.
Good luck Joe
with your next rhyme,
I'm sure to comment
every time.

Thank you very much
for being so kind,
I just type what pops
into my mind.
Almost every time
I look at your thread,
So many ideas
fly into my head.
I hadn't written poetry
in quite a long time,
but I was inspired
when I read your rhyme.

Why isn't it? There are many styles of poetry, presumably you dont find them all aesthetically pleasing.

A poem is an expression of a vision that is rendered in a form intelligible and pleasurable to others and so likely to arouse kindred emotions.

you just thought of words that rhyme

Ah, it's poetry in the most simple of forms though. Very crude stuff.

Jessica. 02-03-2010 03:07 PM

There are so many different styles of poetry. That is a very simple form, the kind I am most comfortable with. Just because you think it is not poetry doesn't mean it isn't poetry to others. I know my poems don't mean anything but I can write whatever I want, I don't care what anybody thinks about it, I write it for myself. I have studied lots of poetry and I don't want people to have to think about what I mean, people read what I write and understand it on the spot.

Claymores 02-03-2010 05:35 PM

Why need poetic? I come from Fife where Gergdie does too and met him so many times at openings of neighbourhood centres in Fife. Tories have 0 to offer
