Wheres Chilies Attention?
 

Was discussing this with my mates today in school, as about a month ago I got bombed with insults on here, in school and out of school for saying Haiti shouldnt be getting the attention it got.

So, Chilie had a earthquake to didnt it?
Yes.

And apperantly its one of the biggest earthquakes in years, and the death total is higher than Haiti's.

Where the hell is the posters, the adverts, the charity collects, Simon Cowells Band, and the money for 'Help Chilie' ?


No disrespect to Haiti, and dont bother comenting saying 'Oh but Haiti was so poor'

But Chilie had a bigger earthquake and by the looks of it, No one gives two *****s about it.


I think they should do a Band Aid song for Chilie.
And no, please not another **** depressing slow song like the Help Haiti one.

My friend and I were chatting today about possible song choices for Chilie if they got a Song Covered to collect money for them.

Heres what we came up with:

because Haiti was in a far worse financial state before the earthquake so the damage was even worse. and the earthquake in Chile hit an area with a very low population density so the damage was far less noticeable.

Im not getting into this again lol.
but, tbh i havent heard much on this Chile earthquake. :shrug:
anyway... if we`re asked to raise money for this one! well, **** them!
i mean, if we gave money away like that, we`d have none left ourselves!

my theory is that the US were much more concerned over haiti because of the close proximity

and obviously if the US is going crazy over something so is everyone else

I'd rather give money to Chilie than Haiti if im honest for a few reasons.

1) Chiliearent getting attention from every bitch on the world.
2) More people lost their lives in Chilie
3) My money would be going to a country that reminds me of my favourite food.

No I'm not. I'm a product of the lower middle class. What difference would it make if you are rich or not? It's entirely up to you if you want to donate. Entirely up to you how much you want to donate. It's not as if a world disaster obligates you to instantly give up all your fucking savings and go live outside Tesco.

1) because they don't need as much as Haiti has received
2) because Chile has a larger population so naturally it effected more poeple, it actually is less in proportion to the population.
