PINT sized Northern Ireland coach Terry Gibson is going to have to utilise all the fighting mentality of the Crazy Gang in two weeks time.

For Gibson has accepted an invitation to participate in Channel Five's Celebrity Boxing on Sepember 9 at the Manchester Evening News Arena.

The former Wimbledon and Manchester United midfielder is set to take on Big Brother One winner Craig Phillips.

Gibson says: "It's all for a good cause, but I'll need to start putting in some serious training soon.

"At first I was told I would be facing the former cricketer Phil Tufnell which was fine, but now I've been informed it's Craig from Big Brother ? that's going to be tough. I've heard he's a well built guy."

Also on the card is Mark Williams' girlfriend and glamour model Lyndsey Dawn McKenzie against his friend Jodie Marsh.

Ex-Man United centre back Gary Pallister will take on former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland hero John Aldridge.

They are trying to copy ITV1's Celebrity Wrestling and they've even got thier own BB winner. I prefer CW...:thumbs:
