Another waste of legislation. This is a tax on law abiding people. The perps who labour think they are targeting will never buy this, just like they dont buy any insurance full stop.

Unfortunately - I agree with this!

I understand it is a consultation at the mo.......If so then the public should reply and make their views known.......

I think compulsory insurance is pointless. Won't solve anything as those who don't care will simply avoid the insurance and monitoring the insurance would require a lot of civil servants..far too costly and impractical

We need strong laws and sentences for irresponsible owners and possibly the licencing of big powerful dogs.

Yes New Labour are starting a Angry Debate
just on ITV1 5PM show
they all agreed in a Live Debate on this New Idea
that this will never work,
as there is not enough Police to ensure every bad dog is Insured.

It all due to the rushed Election.
But this makes New Labour look stupid.

Nothing to do with the election.Labour are always dreaming up consultations of which are just an exercise as they would have already made up their minds what they want to impose anyhow......

Only one thing certain the Tories would be a thousand fold worse.........

I think you will find it's the media that want the debate........The public get it regardless of what they want.....

Tv news channels love digging up some bore or another to debate something they would like to think the public are mad about.........It's all media driven not election driven.....
