Nope, not at all. You are in control of what you think... of you own perceptions regarding life. Nobody else. Once you start thinking that way you lose control.

I rather be lonely than with people who let me down. That is why I only have a few close friends.

You can not control what other people do but you can control your actions and reactions to what they do. If you blame other people for everything, you will be miserable because that is out of your control.

No, it's the truth, you're going to meet lots of wankers and lots of nice people, that's life. If you want to be happy try to focus on how you handle yourself or react in difficult situations cos your own actions are the only ones you can control.

Err I don't like controlling people. My sister is a control freak! However it is only a good thing if she is organising something but she gets too out of hand. I just ignore it and fade away into the background when she gets nasty.

Not at all. Emotions are good in one way... they indicate problems in our psyche that we need to deal with and I'm telling you, you wont be dealing with them by drinking right now: that's just feeding a vicious cycle of negativity and those negative emotions will only increase rather than dissipate.

Life sucks at times but you have one and need to try and get out of this negative attitude :( Trust me I know what it's like, you know that.... and I know how it can be to dwell in it which is awful but you're not yourself right now and it's worrying

I'd say they're one in the same tbh. People letting you down is a part of life, therefore they are one, as well as you letting yourself down by not having the sense to react in the right way to them.

Without let downs, you wouldnt find anything as exciting..
If everything was good with people all the time it would be boring.

People let you down yes. You can let yourself down by not controlling emotions..
