Cos people are scared of change

Fear of not having someone there.

When they wake up.

Fear of being alone, dying alone!

Fear of that sense of stability and security not being there anymore.

Unfortunately we're creatures of habit and struggle to adapt quickly after we've developed a routine or attachments, even when they're ultimately having a negative effect on our lives. It's basically out of fear really.

Totally disagree! I think that attitude traps people in unhappy relationships - and prevents them from moving on! More understandable in older people - but youngsters definitely should take the bull by the horns and make the change!
