What is your current view as to whether Tony Blair should be prosecuted?

In the Hague for War Crimes/Crimes Against Humanity contrary to international law and the UN Conventions?

He clearly led his country to attack another which was posing no offensive threat and caused countless deaths on both sides for no valid reason. He also did this in the knowledge that Iraq posed no offensive threat to the UK, and purveyed the obvious lies fed to him by another warmongering nation simply because we are defensive allies

Yes he should be put on trial for his part in the illegal invasion of another country, along with his mate George Bush. Its great that he can lie to a public inquiry and get away with it hiding behind "in the National Interests".

He could always get his missus to defend him. Thats would save on the legal aid too.

Maybe Arista was snorting some of that Glitto scouring powder he uses to keep his surfaces shiny bright.

LOL Shas - she's a human rights specialist - he'd only get off the multiple murders on what grounds? He was incapacitated at the time because up George Bush's ass?! LOL

I dont want to see him get off, I want him to be punished, that twat cost me about a year and several thousand pounds thanks to his agreement to go invade in order to remove WMD's that even the UN monitoring agency said didnt exist.

I wonder how much of the work he does himself now? Probably has an army of interns working on a pittance for him.

Monica Lewinski works for him now???? - ooops Cherie would never allow it!

OR blow me down - is that why UK attacked another country?! She didn't like Iraqis and Tony was on a promise?

bananarama 20-03-2010 12:28 PM

Are not terrorists who blow up trains with civilians on board not war criminals. Yet none of them are called to be tried as one.......Blair may be guilty of a major political misjudgment but a war criminal is something elese......

I wish people would spend more time and energy calling for real war criminals to be brought to justice......

No, I mean now helping him with the speeches and consultancy interactions. When he's earning those kinda figures I'd say he's hired in a few minions to do his bidding. That's what power brings you. Sickening really.
