Weve all seen the adverts of them bitching about each other, but where do you prefer to shop?

I like Morrisons, we normally shop there too, we have a Sainsburys but thats quite expensive. ASDA is good too, lot of variety.

GypsyGoth 20-03-2010 03:17 AM

Tesco

Well out of that entire list, the only one in Ireland is Tesco so Tesco! It's where we get the food anyways,is only up the road.

Claymores 20-03-2010 03:38 AM

Morrisons - their weekly offers are ridiculously cheap.............though you end-up with 2000 bags of crisps and have to eat them before the sell-by date

Claymores 20-03-2010 03:50 AM

Any supermarket without Jamie Oliver, Denise Van Outen or Richard Hammond in their TV ads is probably the correct answer

CaraRawr 20-03-2010 06:28 AM

ASDA or Tesco <3

LewisMarvel 20-03-2010 08:39 AM

Tesco all the way

Its so funny when Asda are like 'Thats why were better than Tesco' and im like 'No your really not.. why would anyone want to go to a shop were the staff walk about slapping eachothers arse?'

I love how Sainsburys are always like 'We were cheaper on this many products.. were as Tesco.. well see for yourself ;)'

LMAO

30stone 20-03-2010 11:20 AM

Does somerfield count as co op now since all somerfields will be a co op at some point since they have bought the chain?

But asda usually
Tesco for its 24hourness..
and saindsburys because it seems to have stuff i havent seen in a long time in it.

Stacey. 20-03-2010 11:20 AM

But Asda are they are far cheaper on a weekly shop, we save like 20 pounds a week shopping in asda, rather than saindburys or tesco.

Enid 20-03-2010 11:25 AM

Waitrose.

Claymores 20-03-2010 11:25 AM

Have you ever tried shopping @ 3am tho 30? You still have to bluddy queue up as they've only got 1 checkout on!

Does your family only buy economy range?

Mrluvaluva 20-03-2010 11:30 AM

I shop at Asda as it is directly across the road from me and it takes 2 mins to walk there. It is a 24 hour one. I generally buy stuff when it's on offer, so I save quite a bit. And I normally find loads of bargains if I go in at the right time.

Smithy 20-03-2010 11:58 AM

Asda :p

Enid 20-03-2010 11:59 AM

Asda is for peasants.

LOL - In Germany, Lidl is just a normal store where they surprisingly don't sell cheap UK rubbish !!!!

Smithy 20-03-2010 12:04 PM

I thought Lidl was from poland?

Enid 20-03-2010 12:05 PM

Asda is the epitome of cheap UK rubbish!

Crimson Dynamo 20-03-2010 12:18 PM

Waitrose is the best for quality
Aldi rocks as well as it is left field

Morrisons is not too bad, slightly quirky

Ruth*Star 20-03-2010 01:46 PM

Asda, Just got back from shopping in one actually.
