The Early Noughties <3
 

Do you ever like hear of a year from the noughties like 2003 or 2002 and think 'Aww' or somthing? :joker:

Its sort of weird because like thinking back, the year 2000-2006 were wicked.

Right now on 'The Vault' they played 2 songs there from like 2004, 2003 and 2005.

They were:

'XTM-Fly on the wings of love'
'Frankee-***** you right back'
'Nizlopi-JCB Song'

I really miss those years, like Music was so good then too.
Half of my iPod is filled with old songs, I dont mean like the 80s I mean like songs from the early noughties that I remember.


Just the memories of like doing stuff those years.
It is sad how Big Brother sort of stands out to me.. I think of summer when people mention years tbh so the first thing I think of is BB.

In English the teacher mentioned 2004, and I immediatly thought of BB5 even though I cant remember it.

When someone says 2005, I think of that summer when BB6 was on..

And when 2006 Is mentioned I just think of the BB7 Eye right away :joker:

2008 immediatly remembers me of Summer 08' During BB9 aswell.

Does anyone else miss those years?

2007 Was when everything went downhill for me, it was just ****.
2008 Was my favourite year, BB probley played a part in that.
2009 Was **** too.


I was like reading a book in the library about Tornados and it mentioned 'Hurricane Katrina' hitting USA on 2005 and I was just thinking I remember the day I watched that on the news.. so long ago now you get me?

What was your favourite noughties year and why, Also when you hear a year mentioned do you ever immediatly think of somthing?
Like I do with BB.

I didnt actually like Frankees song I liked her Ex Boyfriends one better but yeah.

The other 2 werent bad tbh.
Especially 'JCB Song' that could of been Christmas Number 1 of 2006 if Shayne hadnt won X Factor.

There are obviously more amazing songs that came from the early years but like they were the ones that have been playing so far on this channel.

2006 was amazing
Last year of highschool just playing football down the park straight after school everynight til about 11 the night before GCSE'S And not giving two ****s about anything

no responsibilites, just going to the skatepark, playing football, chilling

2000 - when I started school and my little sister was born = great year.
2001 - don't remember much happening
2002 - Another great year.
2003 - Not sure what happened. But it was sunny.
2004 - Same as above.
2005 - When my other little sister was born = brilliant year.
2006 - Probably my favourite year. Not sure why though.
2007 - When I started high school. meh year.
2008 - This year was ok. The summer let it down.
2009 - TV and music was great. The year not so great. Family issues made this year my worst.
2010 - So far this has been a fab year and I hope it lives up to my expectations.

oh yeah and it was the days of myspace, better than bebo, better than facebook, better than twitter

2008 Had the best summer IMO.
But thats just me, depends if you were talking about the weather though lol

I agree, 2010 has been alright so far hope the summer is good, the summer is what makes you remember a year for somthing lol

2009 for me it just my best year ever in my life. I went to my first gig,i found so much new music, and i became 13 it was just amazing<3

I was talking about the weather. It had all the floods and stuff which really made it quite depressing. It was constantly raining. We haven't had a proper summer since like 2006.

If you think about it 2008 was the best year Reality TV Wise.

Im A Celebrity was at its best.
Big Brother was also at its best imo.
X Factor was the best its ever been.

I seem to just remember warm weather but I went on Holiday Twice so thats probley were I got the idea of hotness from lol

2009 was a horrible summer :(

I hope the predictions are true and that 2010 is just as good as 2006's Summer.

2009 was a great year for XFUK

Every year has been great,2006 for BB7 though and being in year 9 all i remember doing was laughing all the time.

The early Noughties music was crap dance, and chavy **** it got better in 2005, FOB<3
2009 and 2010 music has been amazing, their is loads of my fave type of music about<3 (still a lot of **** music about though)

Ratings Wise, yes yes it was indeed.

However, it was **** compared to the year before.

And Nathan, we refer to our X Factor was X Factor we shall call the American XF X Factor USA for as long as possible until it falls on its arse.

I'm a Celebrity was at its best at series 3.

Big Brother was at its best in 2002, 4, 5 and 6. BB9 was a pale imitation of BB6.

Summer 2003 was also the hottest this decade.

X Factor was at its best though, as was BGT
