GypsyGoth 27-03-2010 11:01 PM

Firewire 27-03-2010 11:02 PM

Yep, I agree. Like them in different ways.

Twilight 27-03-2010 11:09 PM

Vampires<3

Claymores 27-03-2010 11:16 PM

Zombies - any movie made by George A Romero is hilarious. The remake of Dawn of the Dead was a travesty cos the zombies could run

LemonJam 27-03-2010 11:54 PM

Vampires pre Twilight.

i just cant take vampires seriously after twilight

setanta 28-03-2010 12:32 AM

Vampire flicks have the coolest music, which goes hand in hand with the gothic, lusty and seductive qualities of the genre.

I can never remember the name of movies - but there have been several that I liked - I vaguely remember one with Steven Segal (although not keen on him) called the Glimmer Man or something, Ted Bundy etc.

I also like episodes of drama series such as CSI, Law & Order, Messiah, Trial & Retribution, Wire in the Blood etc!

Not bad. My fav is probably Manhunter. 80's Michael Mann flick based on the Thomas Harris novel called Red Dragon. Classic stuff.

Like my Granny always said, "it's the living you should be afraid of, not the dead".

Yeah - I liked that one - seen it several times, very dark and atmospheric! I like creepy films like that!

And your Gran is a wise woman! Vampires and Zombies are fantasy - it is real life that is scary!

Have you seen Zodiac? One of my films of the decade. Just love it.

Seen that one too - can't remember much about it - but know I have seen it! Really like films like that - the more atmospheric the better, dark and broody! Another good one - with Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt - 7 deadly sins or something! Generally good with names, just crap with film titles!

They're directed by the same guy actually. I love Seven's darkness and hellish atmosphere but I would probably prefer Zodiac because it really highlights how much Fincher has matured as a director, a man capable and confident enough to sustain our interests in a story that could have easily left us cold. Such an immersive piece of work. Can't tell you how much I love it.

That's it, Seven - I thought 7 deadly sins didn't sound quite right! Yes, same type of film - so not surprised that directed by same guy. Solid script, lots of twists and good, sound acting! But most importantly - reflects the reality of life out there, and the weirdos that inhabit it! Fascinating stuff!

He's matured as a director though. The Fincher that made Seven would never have been able to film Zodiac. They're both wonderful flicks, but I think Zodiac is his masterpiece.
