What would your opinion be of this case if the couple in question were not Christians and their defence hadnt been financed by the Christian Institute?

Its dead simple, the prosecution shouldnt have been brought. The resulting publicity of the prosecution may have indeed affected the hotels business, the fact that the couple owning the hotel were christians is immaterial, the man deciding the outcome of the case originally said there was no case to answer.
