Great band, shame that Pete is such an almighty bellend.

I've seen that it's pretty good haha he got really good A-Levels I think, he's a clever guy.

I d/ld it and was surprised at how much I liked it.

He is adorable in that video.

Never really got the hype with them...they and The Strokes were like the biggest critically-acclaimed bands of the 00s, but imo they're nowhere near as good as the Strokes.

they're alright, like 'can't stand me now' and 'time for heroes'.

That's true, the strokes are by far better but i do love the libertines.

Do you think Pete is still as talented today Nate, as he was with the Libertines?

I'd appreciate Pete Doherty's genius a lot more if he got a grip on his drug problems. The Libertines are good... he's just a lot of trouble for one band, IMO.

They both do it tbh

Reason they split up was cause they had drunken/drugged up fights about who wrote the lyrics etc

Just pete is a bit more extreme and shows the effects of abuse more
