I ordered this customised hoodie for a friend's birthday present online and I just knew something would go wrong, I was so hesitant about actually paying for it, but sure enough I did it anyway.

So I got it today, looked at it, oh it's qt. I like.

I got home. Looked at it again.

It's supposed to say;
"Don't squeeze me until I'm yours" (don't ask - this is a private joke between me and her: we saw the phrase in a café advertising some muffins lmao and we decided it would be her motto)

it says:
Don't sqeeze me until I'm yours.

WHERE THE **** IS MY U.
I'm supposed to MEET her tomorrow and give this to her, and it's ****ing spelt incorrectly!? what the hell am I supposed to do :|

my original idea was to sew the letters onto a hoodie myself because that's all creative and efforty and sweet and all that - but the fact it looks like a mess and i'm no good at sewing kinda holds that plan back.

I can't send it back and ask for it to be redone because that would mean I turn up tomorrow with no present and yaaaaaaay happy birthday.
I can't turn up and give it to her because it's not ****ing spelt correctly. Though it did take me a while to notice. But she's going to have it for tiiiime and she'll notice and she knows about this now :p
and I can't edit it myself because I'm **** at that kinda stuff.

bring it and show it her and tell her about the mistake and then send it back. She'll atleast have seen the present then and you won't be empty handed.

i would tell her the website made a mistake, ask her if she still wants it and if not get her something else if you have the money, or make it up to her. You never know she might laugh about it and it might turn into another private joke?
Or you could write on it.. don't add the letter, write something like 'bitch i know it's spelt wrong. The website *****ed up'

Btw, for a minute i had no idea.. it took me a minute to clock, then i laughed about it haha

Maybe your friend will see a funny side to it. If you and her are that good friends you will just laugh together and then take it back.
