Big Brother 7: What Needs To Change?
 

It's VERY obvious Big Brother needs to be changed for BB7, on here it's all posotive BB comments but if you go somewhere like DigitalSpy where it has more members old fans are now abbandoning the show.

I have some things that should happen for BB7:

Head of House/Veto - Having this would make tasks more important, basically this it from the American version and throgh a task 1 housemate gets to change a nomination and gets their own bedroom.

Normal Housemates - Producers went too far this year with just putting bitch after bitch after bitch into the house we want housemates like were in the 2nd and 3rd series' of the show.

What does everyone else htink about changing BB for the 7th series?

I think they need to make them all work alot harder, less food, less beer, more tasks, more overnight tasks, and basically make them hate being there lol. Big brother has become far to friendly for my liking.

I've said this before, but I think that they need to stop choosing people who are really OTT and typical stereotypes to go into the house. In BB2 and BB3 (BB3 is my favourite BB ever) we had people with big personalities, but who the viewers could identify with, such as Helen, Bubble, Brian, Alex, Kate, Jade, Jonny, Alison, etc. This year, and to a lesser extent last year, they have picked people who a lot of people found it hard to identify with. I also think that in trying to pick as outrageous housemates as they could, they ended up picking a lot of people who weren't in fact very nice at all. I'm not saying I'd like another BB4 though!

Also, BB needs to clamp down a lot harder on bad behaviour. Science, Roberto and Maxwell all threw food or water at another housemate, and got away with nothing more than a mild warning.

Get rid of the secret missions - after the first few, everyone guessed when someone was on one anyway - and bring back the Saturday live task, and lots of mini tasks like they used to do before (was it Bubble who had to try and break a record for eating sweetcorn with a toothpick)?

One other thing, if someone goes into the diary room and says they want to go home more than once, they should be shown the door there and then!

I agree more normal people. Plus the bad behavior thing they should get 3 strikes and they are out. This year they seen rule breaking as funny and didnt care they need to be alot tougher with talking nominations in particular and not biased towards people.

I liked the secret missions and it was Makosi really that ruined them this year i thought theyw ere quite fun to watch develope.

Yes i agree Ruth although i didnt watch BB3, i agree that the BB5 and BB6 housemates have had a bitchy majority and i think we need more down to earth people with maybe a couple bitchy people just to stir things up again :thumbs:

we need better tasks and lots of mini ones like the box task
this year there were too many OTT characters there should be a mix of crazy and normal like bb5 and more hot guys:laugh:

I agree with the more normal people but some can be a bit extreme as well. Better tasks as well but keep the BB personality wise as well cos that was my fave bit this year also have more friendlier housemates as well

We need a few more normal people e.g Dan, Shell and Stuart.

Also i think we shud have a differnt nomantion process for bb7!

i think housemate shud have pints - there first nomantion shud get 1 nomantion point and the second 2 nomantion points!

Also i think tat there shud be a strict water supply, if housemates use up all there water , they will have no more till next weeks task!

also only hot water if they pass there task and only Water 24/7 if they pass the task!

Keep it the samee but let them discuss nominations (they do it anyway :laugh:)

:laugh:True! But I hope they don't let them talk about nominations. It will be so easy for people to gang up on one another. If they don't talk about it, we will continue to get a few surprises, such as when makosi nominated Kemal. Although I suppose that if they are allowed to talk about them, they will only tell lies to each other anyway (sometimes).

They need to have a thingy one week where like in a secret room, one housemate gets to watch the nominations. All of them. Not just the ones applying to them. And they're allowed to use this information to their advantage. So like they can find out who likes who...
