Today's matches aren't great, admittedly, but I'm looking forward to the Ronnie match on Monday. I'll try my best to update the thread as scores come in...but that's only if this thread gets posted in :joker: |
Selby and Doherty looks interesting, but yeah, some of those matches look poor on paper.
|
I always keep up with it and often go into town to nebby from the outside too :D
Ronnie for me every year |
It's all about the rocket. Hope his on form this year.
|
Right, I have to put a few bets on it. Any tips?

John Parrott announced his retirement this year. I saw him a couple of years back doing interviews with Hazel Irvine (she's tiny!!) and Steve Davis :D I like Jimmy White too. So sad he's never won at the Crucible :( |
Watching Ronnie now.
Coverage starts on BBC2 at 3PM but you can watch now here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/othe...er/8625493.stm |
Wooo Ronnie!
|
What a great Davis/King match!!! Davis through - excellent. Grew up watching him :D
Ronnie is off his stride. Not looking good but through. Hope he picks it up but he's in the wrong frame of mind which for him is literally all or nothing. He'll either throw the towel and strop off or come out fighting more than ever |
Maguire and Lee currently playing a very scrappy game
|
Have to agree about Ronnie, he seems very bored to me. I still hope he continues though and manages to beat Mark Williams.
I'd like to see Neil Robertson go further this year too. By far my second favourite player. |
Getting a little tired of Ronnie being an on, off player to be honest, which is a shame because I'm a huge fan. If your hearts not in it anymore, best get out.
Loving Steve Davis ATM. Definate sentimental favourite. |

I pray Davis wins, i willl be exstatic if he does win....

Davis and Higgins 11-11 now. Come on, Davis!
Maguire is getting kicked around, 3 to 10/11 or something against Dott. Never liked Maguire. He looks like misery redefined. |
He did it!
|
Robertson VS Gould - what a match. I love Neil :D
|
Steve Davis. What a legend.
|
Cant believe Stevie Davies beat John Higgins:bawling:
|
I'm over the moon for Davis :hello:

Higgins has beat him like 25 out of the 28 or so times they have met. I bet he thought it would be a walkover. I tip my hat to the legend Mr Davis. :cheer::cheer::cheer: |
Robertson is potting really well, and isn't to be overlooked. I was going to place a small outside bet on him, but when I looked at betfair it had him at 5.5-1. Was hoping for way better odds than that, so I guess it's common knowledge he is solid, and on form.
I hope Ronnie beats Selby, would be a nice revenge for their match earlier this year. I'd like to see Ronnie vs Robertson in the final, but I'm not sure the bracket can allow that to play out. |
