Is Shirley Jones returning?
 

I was just wondering if the legend Shirley Jones is returning for BB11?

I read there now about someone called Daniel as an Excecutive of Endemol.
Is there 2 Excecutives this year?


It would be horrible for them to get rid of Shirley Jones!
Look at the amazing job she did with BB5 and CBB7.

She completely turned Big Brother around back in 2004 when BB4 Killed it.
She completely revamped it in January 2010 after BB10 well and truely Killed it.

I think if BB has any chance to go out with a bang, we need her.


Sharron Powers did an outstanding job with BB6 and BB9 both one of the best series' ever but failed epicly at BB10 compared to her previous work.

Daniel Marlow is 1 of 3 executive producers of big brother this year... I believe the other is Katy Smith, Phil Edgar is named as 1 but I thought he was the creative director.

I hope Shirley returns, she is amazing. BB5 was my fave and CBB7 has been my fave CBB.

Phil Edgar Jones on board is not good news.

Dont be so stupid. He is a pivotal part of the show every year, if he isn't exec producer then hes the creative director. Phil is always involved in the show.

He presided over the production of the unpopular BB10 together with Sharon Powers. I'm sure it depends on what you thought of the series, but he was also highly incompetent in the way that he handled the CBB5 race row.

Lol omg Phil. When I got to round 2 in the auditons Phil interviewed me with a youngish looking woman? Could have been Katy? She was pretty with blonde hair!

Eww you mean Phil and Sharon made the final decision of who made the final cut for bb10? eww.

Katy isn't blonde. She's a mega posh brunette.

That could've been anyone, I don't know. Not Sharon, she IS blonde but not young and certainly not pretty.


I'd imagine Sharon gets the final decision as executive producer, officially but herself and Phil were decisionmakers last year. Phil takes almost the same role every year, he's a huge part of it.

It wasn't Sharon. Not sure who it was then. Aww I thought Phil kind of liked me when him and the girl interviewed me. Sort of.. I think he was probs a bit bored/tired after all the people they had interviewed. Well I bloody hope Phil and Sharon.. if she is back.. eeek... pick better housemates than last year's crop!

Phil is a lovely man. I've met him several times and he's the type, if you were a HM, you would trust 110% completely with your life for the next 3months.

Sharon, personally rubbed me up the wrong way. There wasn't anything I liked about her, she's the type to hold grudges, I can totally imagine her being the reason I wasn't part of last year's cast.

I have confidence in Phil, he knows how to pick em'. If you look at the pivotal series in the shows history, he's been instrumental in the picking of some our most amazing HM's.

Jade, Nadia, Victor, Makosi and many more. I just wish he took the helm (executive producer spot) again.

The only thing that BB10 done right WAS the housemates. Every one was incredible.

I hope so. All of her series have gone down well with viewers: BB5, CBB3, CBB7.

She's 100x better than Sharon Powers that's for sure.

Paddy, I think the problem with BB10 wasn't its production, it was the cast. It was good but could've been better.

I didnt think last years line up was bad at all. OK there were some freaks of nature but it was a good bunch. Probably the best line up for years.
