What happened to unisex pop groups?
 

i mean like there hasnt been one in years !!!!

Steps
Hear'Say
Liberty X
S Club Juniors

and more !!

normally they were very successfull (s club and steps)

Pop groups are not as popular as they used to be. The peak of pop groups was in the 90's/early 00's

They died with the nineties euro/pop trash.
My sister used to love Steps lol

I think he means like... Cheesy pop bands... Alphabeat are cheesy but I wouldn't consider them as being as cheesy as sclub etc... I agree though... They were very popular back then... I think the public have just gotten into a different kind of pop music

Anyway, unisex pop groups went the way of the dodo in favour of 'serious' pop acts and Reality TV dream sequences.

To be fair Scissor Sisters are pretty cheesy as are Alphabeat.

Ey Conor. I know what you mean. I hope in the next X Factor they put a unisex group into the live finals! They have never done that before.. well okay with Same Difference and that 2 to go was it? but yeah bring back the unisex cheesy pop groups!

This. They could be considered as pop punk maybe but their definitely not pop.
