Corrie siege sparks murder charge

Coronation Street's feisty factory boss Carla Connor is to be wrongly charged with murder in a forthcoming storyline, a report has claimed. The shock plot twist occurs after the businesswoman's crazed ex-husband Tony Gordon (Gray O'Brien) is killed off in the soap's upcoming siege horror, according to The Sun. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Tony is to hold Carla (Alison King) and Hayley Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh) captive at Underworld after escaping from prison. He arrives at the factory with a gun and ties up the terrified pair. It is now thought that Tony eventually lets Hayley go free before setting the building on fire. In subsequent scenes, viewers will reportedly see Carla untie herself, grab Tony's gun and fire a shot which wounds him. While Carla manages to escape the burning factory, Tony is expected to die in the blaze. Police later examine his body and assume that the bullet killed him. A Weatherfield insider revealed: "Things look very bleak for Carla as there are no witnesses to back up her story." The plotline means that two Coronation Street females are to now face wrongful murder charges. Show favourite Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) is already being held on remand after being accused of killing husband Joe. First Gail and now Carla:rolleyes:. |
Anyway glad to see from that it won't be her that dies, if it is true:D.

Well at least she won't die, yaaaay Carla

Noooo, it can't be maria, Im going to stand by the spoiler I gave ages ago, because that all still makes sense
|
I was hoping it was Carla who gets killed off :(
|
But Carla's amazing! |
She's boring :p
|
She's better than Roy bloody bore me to tears cropper |
True but i still think she's one of the most boring characters in Corrie
|
Carla is hot, so is Maria, but one has to leave :aldo: and I'd vote Maria to go, there is no reason for her to be in Weatherfield anymore
|
But she hasn't had a good storyline in a while, so it'll be nice to she her at the forefront of the show again
Noooo, stop the Maria Hate :nono: |
Agree about Maria i dont think there's anything to keep her in it :)
Unless they do a Nick/Maria storyline |

And she doesn't get on with Helen and Barry amazingly does she, plus she has Kirk on the street and Michelle who is practically a sister |
She's been living with the Connor's for a few months now, I'm sure they're getting on fine :p
|
Sad that Maria dies then, I always liked her.
|
Not fact she dies, Just speculation!
|
Glad that they're giving Alison King more material to work with, she was amazing during the whole Tony storyline, her departure last Feb was outstanding!
