LOL at Tony and Effy on Clash Of The Titans
 

Went to watch it, after reading all the negative reviews, I was preparing myself for disaster. But it wasnt that bad really, It was actually average.

I did enjoy seeing Tony and Effy from Skins on the film, didnt expect it in a film like this.

But even though the story was a bit average and their should have been more wit, it took itself to serious apart from a couple of moments, but the biggest applause goes to the acting of the main characting, Sam Worthington. Quite impressive, its just a shame that the overal film wasnt that great. Also he is from Godalming, literaly 15 minutes away from me and where my friends go to college which is pretty cool having an actor from sort of my towns.

I would rate this film a 5/10. Average.

I went to see it today too and my jaw literally dropped when I saw Effy. Shame she didn't have more lines though. :sad: Tony was good too. I loved Gemma Arteton in it! She was brilliant.

I didnt mind it went to see it ages ago and I was dreading it but it wasnt bad.

The end was epic plus Gemma was so fit in it.

It was a disaster of the highest order. I mean, the original film adaptation diverged from the text, which I was willing to accept given the drama and characterization that still remained intact, but this one was a total joke in terms of narrative, sacrificing everything for spectacle. Utter fail.

The extremely negative reviews ar eucnalled for. Ive seen a Sam Worthington interview where a critic asks him what he thinks about teh film getting such bad reviews in which he replies "I dont give a **** to be honest, Im not making movies for 50 year olds judging my every move, i make them so fans can enjoy!", completely agree, he's kind of been told every time how he feels about the film being so badly recieved, I would have reacted worse than that, he even said it in humour, but was being serious at the same time.

The 5/10 rating for me is for logically, the storyline, acting etc.... for entertainment and having a laugh (as Worthington said this film was about), It was a 8/10.
He's right, its not a serious movie, just enjoy.

All the actors in the movie have said the same even before it was released, dont take it too seriously, so i didnt.

Nah sorry, it's just shi%e. If you want to make rubbish like that don't rape Greek mythology for you own commercial gain and instead try to create your own storyline. They destroyed a perfectly good legend in favour of action and spectacle. Rushed, vacuous nonsense.

I didnt take it seriously, I chose not to, and in that way i found it more enjoyable. Its just a bunch of violence and action scenes with no real story... doesnt matter. It still made its money at the box office.

Effy is well fit, and Tony was a legend in Skins! :thumbs:

It was a load of shiteee, bad cast, bad acting, just pointless remake.
