...If you bothered to do your research, you would realize that this thread is everything that Christina is against. She's all for female empowerment.

She feels sexy, she looks sexy, why shouldn't she show it off?

I was wondering when the little slut that she's kept under wraps for so long would finally make another appearance.

Ross 28-04-2010 03:32 PM

Well I think she looks fantastic and the song is one of her best in a long time.

She's been married for 5 years and has a two year old son? Gosh yeah, she really gets around.

The whole article is ridiculous, it's about using her sexuality and been empowered. And if you haven't noticed the song is called NOT Myself Tonight.

Yep, she'll be whatever is necessary to sell records on any given night, that's all. No time for the girl at all.

Stacey. 28-04-2010 03:57 PM

i love Christina :)

Which is why Christina has gone against her label on many accounts
- The 'Stripped' makeover.
- The Jazz/Blues album.
- Pushing for the release of 'Candyman'.
- Reworking 'Genie' & 'Beautiful' for the Greatest Hits.
- Choosing to work with indie producers+writers such as Sia, Goldfrapp, Ladytron & Le Tigre for her new album.
- Delaying her new album to shoot a film.

...just to name a few.

The producer husband...

Enid 28-04-2010 04:08 PM

Why did she have to lose all that weight? She looked really good before. :(

Harry! 28-04-2010 04:21 PM

Very Justify My Love / Erotica style. Should be good.

Doing a total image overhaul and releasing a throwback album is hardly 'whatever will sell records'

Just... meh... at least the song is more listenable than Lady Gaga, but still not up to much.

"Aint no Other Man" was good.

Callum 28-04-2010 04:35 PM

In the clip she looks really thin, there's one bit where you could see her bones.

Irrelevant - still knows the ins and outs of the trade. He de-slutified her for awhile.

Oh please could you be any more sexist about the matter? You're just assuming that Christina's under the control of her husband and that any decisions she gets her way with simply MUST be due to her husbands interference.

No I'm not. I'm telling you that it obviously stands to reason that they talk about her career strategies, that's all. Don't turn this into a sexist issue. Who wouldn't want a music executive for a husband when you're trying to further your own singing career?

That's like saying, who wouldn't want an accountant for a husband when you want to be rich, it's ridiculous.

It's not so ridiculous when a lot of people marry for money.
