Call of Duty: Black Ops - Coming November
Retailer GAME has provided location details for the recently announced Call Of Duty: Black Ops via a listing on its website. According to the store's description, gameplay will take place around the globe in countries such as Cuba and Vietnam. "Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done," read the listing. "From Cuba to the Arctic and the jungles of Vietnam, Call Of Duty: Black Ops features stunning cinematic graphics and intense gameplay that puts you right at the heart of the action!" The description also stated that players will be able to "fight online in diverse and exciting multiplayer modes that have yet to be announced". I'm over COD really, It's just gonna be like MW but with a different setting. Instead of whoring out the cashcow they should take a few years to create a really good game instead of sh*tting out a new one every year.

They need to spend longer then two years developing them really, because it's already starting to get stagnant. Best thing for them to do is to spend a few years developing a new engine and such and come back with a game that's really great because the last few games have felt like glorified expansion packs.
Although I can't see Activision willing to to do it until they milk it dry. |
I've only played Big Red One, Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, I liked them three, but for Black Ops, its all very meh

Doubt I'll get this one. I'll stick to MW2 until they release one that's completely different from the previous COD games.

Then again we can't really judge, I do hope they do something different with this one as the idea of Black Ops based game is an interesting one and it has a lot of potential for new types of gameplay and such although I got a feeling they won't.

See i loved call of duty modern warfare..
We must have played it for like 14 months me and friends.. World at war.. i played til like level 20 online.. and ive not played modern warfare 2 online just completed the campaign.. I love the campaign, and i think ill play online today.. Ill still buy it as i love playing it, the thing that ruins it for me is the people online some people are just such wankers. |
Looks okay - but I do agree.. the games are like expansion packs these days. They need to take a few years to work on an amazing game and develop game play a little bit more. Otherwise they will slowly start to see sales decreasing over the next few years.

Thats true.
I do think a year without it or 2.. people would miss it and when it comes back be bigger than ever! World at war was a pretty poor game, but its sales were amazing because it followed mw1 and everyone thought it would be like that so just bought it. |
Plus it wont be the same now Infinity Ward has ended

Yeah. I think that if they keep bringing out "Sub-Standard" games.. people wont be as excited when they finally produce an amazing game, which will effect the sales of that one. I'll probably still buy this though just to see what it's like.

If they did leave it 2 years.. the next one would be biggest seller of the year no doubt! |

Best thing to do is to stick with friends really, there's decent people online but they're hidden under the thick layer of *****ers.
