Inspiration.

Who would you say inspires you and why?

Patrick 03-05-2010 03:29 AM

Marcus Akin.

Well because of how hilarious he was during Big Brother, and he showed me not to do what Im told and to be myself and more importantly, taught me a few good insults.

So yes, Marcus Akin.

Patrick 03-05-2010 03:30 AM

LOL At your SIG.

For me there's;

Stephen Fry - An incredibly funny, astute and cultured man, has probably influenced my sense of humour. He's also extremely rational and his approach and musings on some often serious matters always impress me. And as a gay man he's been outspoken in deeply homophobic areas such as Eastern Europe [there was some controversy re: Poland last year, a deeply homophobic country - the leader has compared gays to dogs.] There isn't really anyone I could consider more of a role model.

Ricky Gervais - best comedy writer of the 2000s, and one of the most genuinely funny and clever personalities around.

David Bowie - revolutionised the music industry, fantastically talented and, as a bisexual, probably inadvertently opened minds.

InOne 03-05-2010 03:37 AM

Morrissey - Wrote lyrics that helped me see a totally different perspective of things. Also watching his interviews, relates to me very much.

Kerry 03-05-2010 03:38 AM

Jane Tomlinson - Fought tirelessly for charity despite having terminal cancer

Loads more. Will add as I think

I do like Stephen Fry for raising awareness of Bipolar.

Kerry 03-05-2010 03:45 AM

Peter Kay - for being naturally funny and despite being famous respects his and his families privacy

Kerry 03-05-2010 04:43 AM

Eddie Izzard - Anyone who can run those marathons in so many days and for charity. He deserves a medal. More than a medal

Vladimir 03-05-2010 06:27 AM

Rihanna - because she's a very strong person, we all know what she's been through, also she's natural and funny.

Stacey. 03-05-2010 07:52 AM

Jedward - because no matter what people say, they still love everyone, and dont take in the negative comments. also they dont drink or smoke so thats good. they send a message across like: just be yourself, and live your dream :)

CaraRawr 03-05-2010 07:59 AM

Jared Leto - people call him a douchebag, an arrogant twat, bigheaded etc. when he genuinely isn't. i've met him and as a hardcore 30stm fan can say he is prepared to turn up late to interviews if his fans want to talk to him. he writes fantastic music, has an amazing voice and is a great actor too. he's hilarious, gorgeous and sweet to boot. he really cares about his fans and that is so obvious in how interactive 'this is war' was - he got his fans to sing on the album and even put their faces on the cover on the album. you can't say that of many artists. he is just an amazing man and anyone who thinks he's a dickhead can think again.

Jayne MacDonald. From cruise ships to Loose women. What more can I say?

Madonna - The Queen Of Pop has taught me so much about life and has helped me so much. She is multi talented and has a great personality to match. She has preformed in neally every style of music and has done so many records its untrue. She has told me to express myself, she has taught me to get into the groove and she has told me to dance and sing get up and do your thing. Long Live the Queen!
