It is when taxpayers money was spent on shoring up this incompetent bank. Labour should have let them go under then and saved us all a packet.

No job is for life anymore. People have to be realistic - this is why we are in the sh*t we are in now because New Labour keep throwing money at lost causes. No doubt they will get nice fat redundancy packages.

Wasnt this the bank that shelled out £1.3billion in bonuses to its investment bankers in March? Even though they racked up £3.6billion in losses last year?
