Big Brother Special Programmes to Air?

Towards the end of the month, Big Brother is set to be exposed in a new documentary which will air on E4. This documentary will show the innter workings of Big Brother, what exactly goes on behind the scenes, what goes on during the depelopment of a brand new house for every summer, how the Diary Room works and how its transmission has gone from being a said, social experiment to a hit reality TV show.

This documentary is said to air on Friday 28th May on E4 at 23:05.

Below is the show write up:

"In its ten year run, Big Brother has produced some of the most memorable, controversial and groundbreaking television ever seen. Big Brother Exposed: The Inside Story speaks to the people behind the cameras to chart the programme’s remarkable journey from a ’social experiment’ to the reality phenomenon that everyone knows and loves…and loves to hate. For the first time ever the stories behind the headlines will be revealed, as producers and ex-housemates tell all about what really happened. Davina and Dermot also provide their own personal take on their years living with Big Brother. Find out how Big Brother became the most innovative and controversial entertainment show of a generation and changed the face of British television."

EDIT: I want to add to this as there is also an awards show lined up.

Ex Big Brother housemates are in-line for an award for Big Brother. Certain traits are going to be voted for by the public, such as "Bitchiest Housemate" etc...
This show is being dubbed "Big Brothers Big Award show".
This special award show is said to Air on Saturday 22nd May on E4 at 22:15.

The write up for the show is as follows:

"This summer Big Brother is back for its final swansong, and to celebrate we’ve decided to reward the housemates that have entertained us the most over the last ten series. Big Brother’s Big Award Show sees Davina McCall and the British public bestow accolades upon those housemates deemed memorable for all the right and wrong reasons. There are a number of awards up for grabs: from ‘Best Housemate’ to ‘Best Bitch’ and ‘Best Couple’. The show culminates in the most hotly contested award of all: ‘Best Series’. Housemates from each series will argue why their series was the best, before we announce who has won the prize as voted by the fans themselves. Expect humorous and revealing commentary from ex-housemates, Dermot O’Leary, and other celebrity members of the Big Brother family, as they express their opinions about these award winning moments."

I'm afraid I didn't dub it as "new news" - It's here for future reference though, for those who may not know ;)

The documentary sounds amazing, it's something I would never have known if you had not posted a newer topic, so thank you.

Hey, if it's not harming you, and it's not displaying outright doltishness, don't jump on it, people!

Some of the threads telling shows should be stickied. I'd probs forget otherwise.

Re: The Awards Show.

I take it the vote for the favourite series that was conducted on Channel 4's official website will be one of the awards then.
