Really flippin' annoying Firefox problem
 

Okay, so for the past half a year, Firefox has decided to start making all pictures and icons dissappear at random then reappear about 20 minutes later, what the hell is flippin' up with this bloomin' thing?

Nah, I tried it, it was okay, but I'm too used to Firefox

My firefox suddenly kept going 'Not responding' and always freezes. I used to love it as well.

I've removed a few add ons, Google Gears in particular (Had no idea why it was installed)

it seems to be a lot smoother so far

Yeah, my browers seem to have loads of add-ons and i've got no idea where they come from.

lol, remove them, it seems to be the thing that slows it all up

OMG! mine is always doing this now. FFS! it just did it now!!!!! how can it be fixed?

Nothing to do with this thread really, but it reminded me that i was meant to be doing something about how slow my FF was going...I just downloaded an add on called Speed DNS, and it has actually made a difference, unlike other add ons...

Sorry but what is an add on? :"( where do I find them/get rid of them?

Go in 'tools' then 'add ons'

I have had no disappearing icons or any unexplained slow downs so far :)

Itunes and photo gallery I would get rid of...but if you use them, then nothing :)

So if i get rid of them will it delete my itunes and photos? sorry I just know nothing about computers.

Nah, it will just take the add on off...wont affect your itunes or anything, I dont think anyway.

Very annoying, it also happened while I was on amazon as well. Luckily I wasn't buying anything. The removing add-ons didn't work for me, it froze on the re-start lol
