What ever happened to The Ting Tings?
 

I remember they were very big in 2008, I can still remember listening to 'Thats not my name' alot during BB9.

And hearing 'Shut up and let me go' and 'Great DJ' on every TV Advert.

And I bought their album.

And Thats not my name, was on the radio constantly and everyone hated it including me but I then began to love it.

And they were on T4 On The Beach in Summer 2008 and I watched it just to see them.


I was just listening to their album I got ages ago, and I was thinking what ever happened to this band?

I mean did they break up or did they just not get anywhere in 2009?

I would love to hear from them again :(

The Ting Tings are absolute legends. That's Not My Name is my song of 2008 by a country mile. Me and my best friend used to sing it all the time. :laugh:

I hope they come out with some new material, because they're brilliant IMO.

The band began writing their second album in Paris, France, and will record the album in a converted jazz-club in Berlin after the Pink tour, from October. Although they have not completed writing any tracks yet, White says that the new album would show some subtle changes to their sound.

Thats not my name, is definiatly one of those songs that just remind me of 2008.
I love the part in that song near the end were the girl stops singing and you can just hear the drummer singing.

That part is great.

Its weird though because I used to absolutely hate them, then they were my fave people of 2008. Then when I first heard gaga, I couldn't stand her, then she was my fave person of 2009/10.

Oh gosh, I hope they still sound as good as they did 2 Years ago :(
