Big Brothers launch twist

Big Brother is planning its biggest launch night ever! the big twist is that 100 people will be fighting
for a place live on air!
Davina her self will be gathering 100 candidates at Elstree studio.

All 100 will have passed medical, police and psychological tests and been told they might become housemates.
When they are all together, Davina will tell them they face a special task.
This challenge will be kept secret until launch night.

The first 16 applicants to pass this test will win a place inside the big brother house and the rest will be sent home.
According to the Daily Star their mole said “This is the biggest stunt that producers have ever pulled off.
“Bosses have unearthed what they think are 100 potentially good housemates.

“But none of them has got a guaranteed place on the show. It’s going to be a tough battle.”

Last night a spokesman for the show would only say: “This may be the end but there are still a few more surprises in store.”
This grand series will last just over 13 weeks which is the longest series ever!

Lowkey 24-05-2010 12:51 AM

100 lol thats so fake.

Naptor 24-05-2010 12:52 AM

Yep, hope its not fixed again, like we've suspected in the past :/ e.g golden ticket

Shasown 24-05-2010 01:02 AM

Was a secret till the Daily Star told everyone.

Revert to plan B

AndrewLee*** 24-05-2010 01:08 AM

that sounds wayyyy to complicated. So your saying they have 100 people in hiding?

JCBBFan 24-05-2010 01:46 AM

Seems to me like fake. It's just like BB10's twist, but with 100 people. No thanks.

This.

I really hope this is just a rumor that holds no truth.

AJ. 24-05-2010 02:22 AM

Absolutely no chance!

They all might be good HMs but like they would risk ending up with 16 same sex or same personality, they pick HMs that go well together not just a random mix and cross their fingers, they could do it with 1 but 16 no chance.

They're not that stupid ... oh god I hope the're not that stupid.

BrooklynFan 24-05-2010 02:59 AM

They might divide the 100 people into groups of 15, each of them a balanced mix of male/female, normal/crazy, pretty/ugly, whatever, and one group wins and gets to go in? who knows!

camertone 24-05-2010 05:29 AM

if it is true, it's a very bad idea for so many reasons! we want diverse and different people on the show.

mardibum 24-05-2010 07:21 AM

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!

gotta agree with this? unless they've been given a massive budget for the last series i doubt this OP sorry :cat:

mardibum 24-05-2010 08:09 AM

That would be so much work for them to keep everyone updated. I'm sure they would want a specific certain number of people which they have researched properly. They would have to edit 100 vt's. I do think there will be some kind of competing to get in possibly but not on that massive scale!

BBDodge 24-05-2010 08:32 AM

You can't tell 100 people to quit their job for a slim chance to get on a TV show. This is the daftest rumour of the season.

BBDodge 24-05-2010 08:33 AM

Also "This grand series will last just over 13 weeks which is the longest series ever!".

That comment was made up by a Star hack who hasn't even watched the show since BB6, if at all.

Matt 24-05-2010 08:39 AM

The Daily Star are so contradictory. It was just yesterday that they said that Welsh TV presenter had made the final shortlist of 25 candidates...

Nicklol123 24-05-2010 08:50 AM

BB10 was nearly 14 weeks actually. So this can't be the longest series.

janaddy86 24-05-2010 08:58 AM

Depends how they define 'just over 13 weeks' and you define 'nearly 14 weeks'

Kazakh 24-05-2010 08:58 AM

Double Plus stupid, how are the Top Brass going to keep 100 in isolation/seclusion?

BB8 was the longest so far btw.

Mrluvaluva 24-05-2010 09:05 AM

Didn't they report yesterday that there would be 14 people entering the house on launch night?

This sounds ridiculous. I think it's fake.
