I really don't give a flying ***** what strangers/neighbours/casual acquaintances etc think of me - they barely register on my radar and since they don't know me they are incapable of making any informed judgments. The only ones whose opinions I value are my family and friends.

As OP said what "people" think of me is their business - I couldn't care less.

If someone has an opinion of me, then it's obviously me business wth are you talking about.

Course it's none of our business. We all form opinions of people - even people we barely know - and most of us keep those opinions to ourselves. However, if someone thinks I am a cvnt, I'd want to know. Not so that I can reflect and change accordingly.. so I can continue being my perfect self.

I do however care what others know.

This! Can't abide it when people spread uninformed, malicious gossip about people - they are far worse than anything they could be accusing the unfortunate 'victim' of!

There is some factors in this.. If someone is shouting their opinion in my face then its my business, if someone random round town is saying "look at that guy, looks like such a tit" to themselves then i dont care as i do that lol.
