Yes, its that time of year again!! Ratings Thread time.

Here we will predict ratings, post ratings, discuss, all that.... Here are the launch ratings of BB in the last 10 years.

BB1 - 3.6 million (17%) (NOT LIVE)
BB2 - 3.5 million (17%) (NOT LIVE)
BB3 - 5.8 million (26%)
BB4 - 6.9 million (29.3%). Peaked at 7.6 million (32.3%)
BB4 - (SECOND PART OF LAUNCH SHOW FEATURING LIVE NOMINATIONS, 10:45pm) – 5.2 million (32.6%). Peaked at 5.4 million (35.4%)
BB5 - 6.7 million. Peaked at 7.6 million (34%).
BB6 - 5.9 million (29%). Peaked at 7 million (36%).
BB7 - 6.9 million (30.6%). Peaked at 8.1 (36.7 %).
BB8 - 6.22 million (28%). Peaked at 8 million(35%)
BB9 - 5.4 million (25%). Peaked at 6.1 million [inc. +1]
BB10- 5.1 million
CBB7- 6.2m (Official of 6.7m)

As you can see there was an unusual rise from BB10 to CBB7, is that a good sign for BB11??

Launch: 5.8 million

4.7 million for the launch

Really, CBB7 launch got 6.7m, CBB7 final got 4.7m, and normally the launch gets about a million more than the final before and with the billboards and stuff i really do think we can push an official of 7m. I mean an official of 6.7m for CBB7 was very impressive.

5.9 million

I just think when people read about how launch night is going to go, its just going to be anther BB 10, i think it could really put people off...TBH

6.1 Million for Launch, depending on how much advertising is done in the next 2 weeks.

Also Salv, abit Off Topic, but do you know the ratings for The Million Pound Drop?

Naa dont think it matters, people will watch the launch show regardless, just wont watch the first HL show if the twist ends up crap.

6 Million+ for launch (yn)

im thinking about 4.9

million pound drop has been doing well averaging 1.9 million viewers almost twice the amount for a normal 10pm slot

I think the launch will have a strong rating. There isn't any competition (only really Junior Apprentice and that is struggling to hit 4million atm), its the last series and theres some major advertising going on.
The CBB7 launch figure still amazes me but I don't think the BB11 figure will be too far off it. I will guess at an overnight figure of 6.4million

Yeah the CBB7 rating for launch really amazed me too, had no idea where all those viewers came from, and the final got 4.7m (BB10 final got 3.4m).

Junior Apprentice is struggling so hopefully it stays the same as it is now so it doesnt affect BB (harsh i know) but the 2nd episode went sub 4m, was something like 3.7m i think.

I think for CBB7 alot of that extra audience that came out of nowhere was because it was known to be the last celebrity series, hopefully that effect will happen to the main summer series too.
If Junior Apprentice drops again tonight then it looks good for the BB launch.
The ratings for the BB11 launch look like they could be the best in a few years, unfortunately it really doesn't matter how good the ratings are

Junior Apprentice hit 5million last night so it does look like Big Brother will have a bit of competition on launch night. However I don't think Junior Apprentice will hold up that well against BB, I don't think the viewers will be as loyal to it as they would to the normal series of The Apprentice.

LOL, not to be harsh but i wish it keeps decreasing, so come BB Launch, it wont be a threat. It actually got 5.2m with HD... so thats about 1.5m viewers extra from last week... where did that come from??

I hope it goes sub 4m!! But I hope that viewers will decide BB Launch over JA because by then it will be in mid swing, so it doesnt really matter if a viewers misses it, or Sky+ it... I hope the launch is first priority seeing as its the actual start of the last series.

Hopefully peak at 7.1m for the launch :)
