BB11 has started already

The contestants of the million pound drop are the housemates competing for a place in the house. :spin: the prize money is some how linked to how much the fake contestants win towards the prize fund the whole show is staged :)

daniel-lewis-1985 27-05-2010 12:23 PM

And you know this how?

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 27-05-2010 12:24 PM

would be good if it was true coz will who was on last night was fit as ****

Jack_ 27-05-2010 12:24 PM

I definitely think the Million Pound Drop is in some way related to Big Brother.

billy123 27-05-2010 12:25 PM

a hunch.
just watch it tonight with that in mind its a new gameshow made by endemol chaired by davina where the entire series only lasts for 6 days and the pairs of contestants of which they get through 6 per show dont seem to know each other very well.

BOOSH 27-05-2010 12:26 PM

On the adverts when Davina was talking about it seemed very big borther ish...

Firewire 27-05-2010 12:27 PM

I think it could be related to Big Brother somehow, but I doubt it is.

Beastie 27-05-2010 12:29 PM

It could be true. However.. blah!! would not really want 2 people who "know" each other go in BB..

Conzors 27-05-2010 12:30 PM

and i havent even been watching it!!!
x

matty0boy 27-05-2010 12:35 PM

i can't see it being related to big brother for some reason, just because davina is hosting it doens'nt mean it has to be some way related to big brother.

hotleggs 27-05-2010 12:35 PM

thats a load of crap

AJ. 27-05-2010 12:35 PM

Doubt it, I don't reckon it has anything major if anything atall to do with BB.

Repped.

matty0boy 27-05-2010 01:03 PM

anyways housemates will be hiding ....so i dont think the contestants of the million pound drop are competing housemates since they'll be knowing whats going on in the outside world

dawa 27-05-2010 01:03 PM

I know its very unlikely HOWEVER:

I agree with people that the contestants do seem to be acting a bit... and the whole thing seems to have a layer of shiny fake over it. (Reminds me of that Space Cadets :p)

Would be amusing if the money they win in this was to be their prize fund! Bugger all! :D

PLUS a thing that makes me a touch suspicious is the emphasis on questions that contain "Exactly What Is Occuring Right Now This Instant (like the temperature one)" or the " What event happened earlier today " ( and the contestants always guess)

daniel-lewis-1985 27-05-2010 01:08 PM

Its not related to Big Brother. Why would they be asking people to apply to be on the show online?

It would be to late for people to apply for Big Brother. This is just a quiz show...actually this is just a boooring quiz show

BigBrotherfan4ever 27-05-2010 01:15 PM

I still feel MPDO is in some way connected to BB, in which way i dont know.

Aye, itd be better if they done a few more questions instead of them dragging it out - 2 questions then adverts then another 2 -_- repeat

these arent people applying these are the chosen 30+ competing to get a place in the house how many gameshows run for 6 days per series on consectutive days? it is an amazing hook to attract new veiwers for the final bb series people that have never watched bb are loving the gameshow they will end up watching bb too.

daniel-lewis-1985 27-05-2010 01:37 PM

There are applications to appear on the tmpd online which are advertised on the show everynight!

I know i applied for it 2 days ago.

dawa 27-05-2010 01:40 PM

Well they do say apply now, but that might just be bull**** or maybe for the final episode or something.

Dunno why im defending this idea lol, I know its not linked -_-

Glenn. 27-05-2010 01:43 PM

How many times do people need telling?
The Million Pound Drop has NOTHING to do with Big Brother. It just people who are looking into things too much.
Big Brother is two weeks away, and the Million Pound Drop ends this week. If they had something to do with each other they would be broadcast a little closer to each other.

What gives you that impression? They've been best friends, boyfriend and girlfriend and husband and wife.
I think they know each other and if you don't see that then maybe your watching a different show:conf:
