To Confirm its not 100, Its only 40 wannabe contestants have been selected to attend the Big Brother launch on Wednesday June 9 but host Davina McCall will reveal only 20 can be chosen by the public to enter the house.

It's being done too screw their heads up more, and to humiliate the one's who aren't chosen

I dont like the idea of the public choosing, they won't choose any hot girls!

So basically it'll be shortlisted to 20, and then we'll have to vote, say 16 of them into the house?

I still think they have who they want. I don't think it will be left entirely to the public vote. It's too risky. What about the people we love to hate? They won't get in. It would make very dull viewing.

How do you know that it's only 40?

Has this twist been confirmed yet? It doesn't like many people even like it.

i know on launch day, not a day b4. c4 seems to keep secrets very well. so far no real hints from c4!

No doubt the most outrageously dressed and loud-mouthed will be shouted out.

This could be a big mistake as there might be some really good housemates among them.:bawling:

My fear is, we'll get a snap judgement that might see a return of BB4. :nono:

20 is quite alot in the house

I now think it's good to let us choose a few from a carefully chosen selection.

I mean, they'll need to have summat about them to instantly grab our votes. Looks, charisma, SOH, big tits, big bulge...something!

Just as long as the majority have already been selected so we're sure to have the right mixture overall.

David Van's Day's daughter Olivia is being tipped to go into the house. lol. Great. If she is anything like her dad, this series will be top class.

There will not be a public vote on whom can enter. It would go against their whole audition procedure and the reasons why they choose the housemates they choose, its not just about every HM as an individual, its about them as a collective and what stories, dramas can unfold around them as a group too.

So stupid. Why can't it just be the normal way. :(

Ive never seen so much confusion on how the launch will go, Im sure there have never been this many "leaks" for the launch twist before.

Don't think it's a public choice. I still believe that they will be selected by BB.
