i would hate if a lot of people went in on launch night and they chose by random.
1.Some of the funniest people might not get on
2. No VT's/Shorter VT's :( (one of my favorite parts of bb)
3.Probably will be a lot of glamour modrels in the mix

Well I don't think it's going to be that random. Like they don't want all of one gender in the house.

This year is not looking good.

It hasnt even started and their is strong judgement towards it ...

The producers are not stupid. They will ensure a decent mix one way or the other. And I'm sure most are already chosen and will have VT's.

And all the potentials will probably have VTs too just in case.

I feel kinda good I know very little about it this year. I hear/read titbits and am naturally intrigued but I've not been as news hungry this year due to time and stuff and it's actually good not to know or speculate for once

I prefer this, it might stop the producers from trying to push the boundaries contestant wise.

We might actually get a bunch of "usual" people up for a laugh rather than Davina announcing "And here is Esmerelda, a 72 year old pre-op transexual from Djbouti who LOVES licking spoons." And change the dynamics for each contestant afterwards and so on and so fourth..

Don't get me wrong, I love the slightly excentric characters, and I do understand the majority of it is just an act, but I'm fed up with how in the past 4/5 series, the producers have seemed to think that sticking in the strangest people is the only thing that makes good entertainment.

Why do the producers keep wanting to change BB? To divert it from what it's essentially about.

A mixture of ordinary (like Jack the lad type of person), eccentrics, intelligent people who are ALL entertaining!!!!

Glamour models.. should be different.. maybe have a degree? but a degree does not prove you are intelligent. Look at what Imogen was like.. jeeeeeez.

I think the housemates should have quite a few "general knowledge" quizes before entering the house.. see how much they know! Hope they do stuff like this when they are in "hiding".

Only thing thats really put a downer on this series for me but im sure it'll turn out great :D

I couldn't agree more with the second point. If we miss out on that then I will be very disappointed. As for the first point, I would agree but I suspect that BB will be all too aware of this so there may be more than meets the eye to it. Certainly it would be very risky to create a high profile opening night but then potentially have a load of housemates who do their best to re-create BB4. It would be very short-sighted of them.

I hate the sounds of this twist aswell. I just brings back my memories of last year's non housemates twist. That was soo half assed the way they did it. I hope to god it ain't anything like that this year. BB should go out with a bang :)

if they want to go out with a bang they need to show the vts and not change too much i like the CBB7 entrances.
