What was BBlock's power???

I'm watching BB9 for the first time and am just amazed. I'm only up to week 4 so I dont know the dynamics of the rest of the summer but I'm watching a tiny minority - Rex, Darnell and Mo, with a little support from Kat and Rachel - facing off against the powerful Luxury Bedroom gang, and??? The luxury bedroom guys are picked off one by one! Who gets nominated/evicted one after the other? Sylvia. Jen. Mario. Rebecca. Luke. Dale. Stuart. Lisa. Bye bye everyone, one by one. Who stays for the final week??? BBlock Rex, Darnell, Mo and their supportiers Kat and Rachel. It's just stunning and shocking. what was their secret? Was it the british public supporting them?

(I cant believe Luke didnt win, I LOVED him. but it's only Week 4 so I dont know what happens later on.)

Im glad your watching BB9, its the best series.
Great house isnt it :)

Well the Luxuary Bedroom were alot more bitchy and in your face than B Block 9.

I was a fan of both, but was more on B Blocks side because I supported Darnell.
Its a shame Stephanie left B Block early, IMO she held both sides together as she got along with both sides of the house.

I think the public basically got rid of the luxuary housemates first because they had a big impact on the house and they were always part of a big storyline and were up for eviction alot.

Its such a shame a good member of B Block didn't win though.
B-Block's leader Darnell should of won.

Im in the mood now to watch BB9 *Goes on MrMarky*

BB9 was one awsome series.

B Block ruled. The luxury bedroom lot were very bitchy I found, much bigger characters so they could be picked out on more too be nominated..evicted..ect.

Luxury bedroom were generally terrible bitches...don't wash well with the public really

And yes, I loved luke...though he was the biggest bitch of them all...hypocrite that I am

Yes he was, he was in B Block from the start.

He slept beside Stephanie's bed which was right beside the Window looking onto the main house.

I really think, had she stayed in.. Rex could of got together with her regardless of Nicole.

Would of been a nice relationship.

Raph 01-06-2010 04:29 PM

BBlock was the best thing in BB history. Simply put - the nice guys V the bad guys. Hence why they got saved really. And Kat was really popular in the beginning, so that helped. And towards the end Rex, Darnell and Rachel were really popular, and hence made the final :)

Raph 01-06-2010 04:30 PM

BBlock was Rex, Rachel, Kathreya, Darnell, and Mo. and Stephanie might've been a part of it, if she had stayed longer.

BrooklynFan 01-06-2010 05:39 PM

I'm watching Luke, Bex, and Jen constantly slagging off Kat and Rachel and it's really getting on my nerves.

Stephanie was more B-Block than Kat and Rachel and she was only there a week.

If I remember correctly Kat and Rachel were original Luxuary bedroomers until a few days in.

LOL Have you got to the day were Kat and Rachel and the luxuarys are singing 'Happy house' in the garden and luke opens the bedroom door to the garden and shouts 'SHUT UP' outside and Kat is like

BrooklynFan 01-06-2010 06:17 PM

I'm up to day 28, kat & rachel are still inthe luxury bedroom. Only darnell, mo, and rex are the only ones there.

BB_Eye 01-06-2010 10:53 PM

I didn't like BBlock, but I guess they were the central story of the series. I'll never forget how happy they were to turn on eachother when their victory at the finals was at stake.

Kat became a bitter bitch near the end and turned on Darnell completely.

Most nights they would be up doing the dishes, but one night she just flipped on him and started crying and making him out to be a bully.

Stupid women.

Beastie 01-06-2010 10:58 PM

Rachel and Rex did not really get on though.

Ahhhhh feel like watching BB9 now <3

The big characters always go first; BB9 was a massive example of how the public got things wrong regarding the voting.

I too have re-watched BB9 and i'm just shocked at the amount of big characters that were evicted so early on.

The problem was, people made the divide between both bedrooms bigger than what it was, Rex, in my opinion, was the leader of B Block, he was the one that had the "troops" in there, not Darnell. Darnell tried to gain a leadership role during HOH and he failed, miserably. Rex did actually get on with Luke and Bex towards the end of their stay, he did get on with a few housemates, it's just things were blown way out of proportion and everyone said it was a big divide, when really it wasn't that big at all. BB did try and play on it by using the richpoor/heavenhell thing in there, but it didn't do nothing, it just got rid of some more big characters.

BB10 was one of the best series for not getting rid of big characters early on. It got rid of the best characters each week, people like Marcus, Noirin, Halfwit, Sophie, Rodrige, Siavash and others stayed in, the rubbish ones went early, which is why i love BB10.

But BB9 is a great series too, i was way to harsh on it back when it was originally broadcasted, it's up there with my favourites now.

bb9 and bb10.. same sentence????? bb9 sh!tted on bb10.

I highlighted the housemates who were as dull as dishwater. Bar Roddy's few tantrums.

Because everyone in the luxury bedroom were just bitches (excluding, Mario, Lisa, Mikey)
Would have liked Steph to have stayed longer in B-block cause i think she would have joined them and stuck up for Mo and Rex and argued with Jen & Sylvia, it would have been totally differnt.

bbfan1991 01-06-2010 11:07 PM

Didn't have much time for anyone in B-Block apart from Darnell who I thought was a marmite housemate until he and Rex called Sara cheap and easy:mad:, they only knew her for like a couple of weeks in the house so what right did they have to say that?.

I liked the LB crew mainly Luke, Bex, Dale and Stu disliked Alexandra and thought Sylvia was ok.. Dennis was vile and I didn't like Jen either although I disagreed on how they acted during spitgate.

Kat's eviction was probably my most favourite ever, she was so smug throughout the series and Lisa was the first person to see what a fake she was.. the '' Big Brudda please don't take any more of my fwends'' line was hilarious with the OTT reactions of Rachel, Darnell and Rex. Gave me satisfaction when Sara stayed because they were so sure she was going to be evicted.

Also does anyone remember Kat and co in B-Block plotting to nominate Lisa and Mario on the live feed but BB didn't do anything and never showed it in the highlight show?.

Ahhhhhh loved that moment. I hope more people for bb11 are more emotionally attatched like that to the evicitions lol. In bb10 the only shock with the housemates was when Kris left.. Lisa and the scrubbers were like.. "OH MY GOD" lol

Pffffft. BB probs did not want to punish Kat because at the time she was probs a "big character". Well she sort of was.. her eviction was epic.
