For me, obviously Glastonbury has ****loads of amazing ones - I'd kill to see Stevie Wonder - but I'm really impressed by Isle of Wight and Oxegen. But on account of having the Strokes, Blondie AND Sir Paul McCartney, I'd say Isle of Wight.

T4 on the Beach sounds like my idea of hell.

Beastie 01-06-2010 04:09 PM

T in the Park for me... Kasabian, Muse, Eminem, Biffy Clyro, Paulo Nutini, Florence, Faithless, Stereophonics, Mumford and SOns, Madness, Hot Chip, The Courteeners.. and a lot more. :)

Stu 01-06-2010 04:26 PM

T4 is like someone set out to custom build a festival of everything I hate about life.

Silly UK urban, vacouous popstars posing as artists, beaches, chavs, Topman Twatbags, the lot.

Iceman 01-06-2010 04:29 PM

Aye, T in the Park is by far the best line-up.

I'm going to T in the Park :)

Out of those, I'd say Glastonbury.

Shaun 01-06-2010 05:21 PM

The thing with Glastonbury is that they try to cater for every possible musical taste, but in the process make it a bit of a mish-mash. I mean who REALLY wants to see Corinne Bailey Rae on the Pyramid stage?

King Gizzard 01-06-2010 05:23 PM

Only going to Latitude this year, this festival thats got quite well known now. Only 15 minutes from my house. Still need to buy a ticket though, lol

I think the diversity is what makes it interesting. My problem with Glasto is that it's all clean and corporate now, when it's meant to be about muck, getting out of it, and sneaking in.

A lot of kids who go to Glasto now actually worry about getting muck on them. Like ... it's a legit worry for them. They show up in their crazy little indie clothes ready for a weekend of totally rad mainstream, safe fun and get pissy when mud gets on them.

That's part of the fun, baby.
