Should brothels be legalised?

-may or may not be watching C4 at the moment-

Shasown 03-06-2010 12:30 AM

Yes they should and their services should also be made available on the national health service.

InOne 03-06-2010 12:31 AM

Yes.

Mrluvaluva 03-06-2010 12:35 AM

I am not watching, but I believe they should, in a non residential environment. They could be more controlled, contraception could be more available, sexual health would be better, I can see an improving situation with pimps, drugs etc, everything could be overseen with hopefully a crack down on violence....of course though, every punter would not go for it, there is always going to be an element of it that remains off the radar. So it will never become totally legal. Ever.

InOne 03-06-2010 12:41 AM

I agree with the safe bit. I feel sorry for prostitutes really.

Boothy 03-06-2010 12:44 AM

Yes. Prostituation is gonna exist whether you like it or not. Legalising it will allow the government to treat the girls properly, provide contraception and provide regular tests to prevent diseases.

Yeah definitely. I actually tried to save one once. I said she shouldn't be doing this and she replied "It's just money luv" I thought the ripper might have put Prostitutes off in Bradford but I guess not.

I don't know why they have not done it already. Think of all the taxes they are losing.

Yes but it never will be because there are too many religious nutters in parliament......

However if it were legalised then licences should not be given to workers taking drugs........This is to ensure that workers are not exploited by an addiction rather than a genuine choice of being a prostitute.......

I see nothing wrong in establishments being in town areas after all what goes on behind closed doors is private and not visible to the public or children as long as the title of the premises is diplomatic.......

Anyone abducting or forcing women in to prostition if found guilty should be executed.......

BB_Eye 03-06-2010 11:53 AM

Yes... I could do with the money.

I don't see what the big deal with is really (unless someone is forced into it) I mean abortion is legal on the grounds of pro-choice and it being the womans own body and it's her choice etc., shouldn't the same apply to this?

i mean how hard is it anyway to get a shag?

tell a girl you love her, couple of glasses of Chardonnay, and away you go.

total cost £5

Spike 03-06-2010 12:56 PM

Yes. Defiantly. There is no good argument not to legalise them in my opinion

Well, yeah, if you look at it that way, you always have to pay for sex:joker: But I suppose this way you're guaranteed it with out all the effort!

MojoNixon 03-06-2010 12:58 PM

Sure! Why not!
