Would Janey Cutler get through if she was 25 years old?

I rest my case.

(the answer is not a chance in hell).

Smithy 03-06-2010 09:10 PM

Probably, she would have been in time an would have sounded better

Lewis. 03-06-2010 09:10 PM

I expect so.

Saph 03-06-2010 09:12 PM

i dont think so, she wouldnt be as funny if she wasnt old

Jords 03-06-2010 09:13 PM

Possibly, I would think so.

Stephanie 04-06-2010 12:44 AM

no way.

Stacey. 04-06-2010 12:45 AM

probably not.

ILoveTRW 04-06-2010 12:47 AM

aww i wanted the pirates to get through, they were better than diversity

AJ. 04-06-2010 12:55 AM

I didnt think she was that good, not half as good as they was making her out to be imo.

Fusion/Twist & Pulse for me.

Kerry 04-06-2010 01:05 AM

I doubt it

bbfan1991 04-06-2010 01:18 AM

Anyone is better than SuBo;):D.

Smithy 04-06-2010 01:18 AM

I think if she performs no regrets again at the final she could have a good shot at winning it

Boothy 04-06-2010 01:57 AM

I think being that old is part of her act though. Connected wouldn't have got through had they been 18.

Kerry 04-06-2010 02:00 AM

Is she the act for the Royal Variety though? To sing to the Queen? Cos all this hype and she will win

Just pointing out a possibility....

keithafc 04-06-2010 04:15 AM

She is perfect for the Royal variety and yes she could of performed better at 25..

She is a good singer, she is 80 ffs.

Would diversity won if they were not black?

would Sampson won if he had been 43?

would anyone have bothered about SuBo if she did not look a little downs?

setanta 04-06-2010 09:08 PM

Absolutely. But there's a resonance to her voice that was probably at it's best in her mid-life.

BGT-FAN! 04-06-2010 09:58 PM

Besides the point.
For her age, she sounds as good as Leona Lewis.
You cannot compare her to a 25 year old.

MassiveTruck 04-06-2010 09:59 PM

I think she sounds absolutely rubbish. I've heard better 80 year olds. Completely gimmicky and untalented.

setanta 04-06-2010 10:08 PM

You've heard better 80 year olds? Are you having a laugh? The girl's great. Such a unique and natural voice.

Your question should be could a 25 year old sing like her and the answer would be no. You can't teach somebody to sing like that. Either have it or don't.

I can't take these comments seriously. She sounds horrendous.

This is just some kind of a joke.

Harry! 04-06-2010 10:42 PM

No her being old is one of her selling points that makes her act original.

Ella 04-06-2010 10:43 PM

I don't think so, But then again would Susan Boyle have had so much fuss made over her if she was a 25 year old attractive woman? Don't think so. Twist and Pulse are my faves :)
