OMG! i just realized something!

Phil Edger Jones said ''we will be seeing some familiar faces in the house this year, and i dont mean past housemates'' on big brother USA they had some other people in the house before the housemates arrived (like the bedsit) but they were some certain housemates enemies or rivals! i bet this is going to happen for big brother 11!!!!! i BET!!!

Patrick 05-06-2010 03:05 AM

They even attempt, I mean attempt to include any form of BB USA In our show and I will take back my previous email of praise and replace it with a threats.

Patrick 05-06-2010 03:05 AM

Nah I don't think he'll change his mind as he has a problem with all-American stuff with immaturity.

I'm actually excited for this twist. Since they said in the news they'll be like 12 or 13 entering, I think there are secret housemates!!! :elephant:

billy123 05-06-2010 05:59 AM

I find bbusa very brash and aggressive where the rudest nastiest and most devious housemates tend to do the best and thats not something that i want to watch i have watched it and given it a chance and its definitely not what i want top see.

each to their own though.

Because when they were explaining it in BB USA they said there is other housemates, familiar faces to some of you...
It turned out that there was a father and daughter (who haven't spoken for 2 years)
ex-boyfriends (one cought gonerea so they split)
two ex-best friends from school (who hate each other because of a boyfriends issue)

and also a few months ago there was a rumor going round that big brother were looking for mothers and daughters... remember that? it was in February i think. Could that be what they mean???

Its fake, OTT, Cheesy, And it looks like a 90s American Soap Opera.

jammyface 05-06-2010 12:24 PM

i bet there talking about the faces on the bathroom walls.

Stu 05-06-2010 12:31 PM

It's just the faces and chickens and stuff.

And BBUS sucks.

this made me lol.

bb usa is so staged and boring dont associate it with our last one

craiga1993 05-06-2010 01:32 PM

i think the familiar face is davina. davina could interview each new housemate as they come in or sumthin. cuz it's not past housemates and we wouldn't know their family so...

beady_eye 05-06-2010 01:56 PM

BBUS?

Pretty much says it all really about the American entertainment industry .... STAGED and PRETENTIOUS

iRyan 05-06-2010 03:54 PM

k, I'm gonna have to defend BBUS right now. While I slightly prefer BBUK, it's still a great show.

Most of you probably haven't even seen it besides maybe BB9 that aired in the UK, and that basically was our "BB4" (boring, ****ty series that didn't fit in with the rest). Everyone keeps saying it's "staged" just because it's edited. It's very different from BBUK in that there are only 3 highlights shows a week, so they edit 2-3 days into one episode. Not everything is exactly in chronological order and some things are out of place if they don't collide with the regular events. But trust me, the show is NOT staged. If you watched the live feed you would know that. It just may appeared staged to a british viewer that is used to an uneditted BB.

And the BBUS version has ALOT more drama than the british version. I guess thats how one could compare it to a soap opera, just like The Real World has been compared to as a real-life soap opera. But the drama is all real. The live feed is live and unfiltered, 24/7. If you just watched the live feed, you would definitely get more of a BBUK feel from it.

Stu 05-06-2010 03:57 PM

I just hate the entire thing. I don't care how much drama is there because the drama sucks. There's just something about watching these hideously loud, pretentious Americans 'play the game' in a gammot of uninspired houses with a fucking robot presenting it.

Fights and tension don't automatically make the show better. It's the aesthetic and the vibe I crave, and I prefer the UK's more edgy, fast paced production and tabloid trashness.

Firewire 05-06-2010 03:58 PM

Well said iRyan. BBUS has much better tasks, and it's evictions/nominations are done a lot differently. It's a gameshow.

Little-Monster 05-06-2010 03:58 PM

Not big brother USA housemates. UK housemates that have enemies or rivals
