this bed seems to be much smaller than the rest (see gallery), with a raised mattress and certainly not big enough for a full sized single duvet by the looks of it.

are the producers expecting another Vern in the mix or is the rumoured 'rabbit hole' twist right before our very eyes?

Not specifically about this wardrobe but about something that absolutely had been in early consideration and planning stages a few years ago for (at least) BBUSA,
but,
may well have been floated back or forth with BBUK.

The idea was this:
A secret 'crawlspace' was proposed for the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme and of course called 'The Rabbit Hole'.
It was meant to be part of a house which was full of riddles and puzzles built into the decor.

The proposed plot would have a house guest (HM) led to solve and find a secret tunnel which would allow them to crawl and slide down a little passage and end up underneath a bed in the 'HoH room'.
[here it helps to know BBUSA rules and why this is massive and ultimate eavesdropping]

I had heard under the bed and in another version behind the bedroom wall somewhere (the old scooby-doo false painting idea).

Sorry but I don't remember exactly why the plan was scrapped but the strangest thing is that even by BB3 many HMs were already actually looking for architecture, secret rooms etc.
In BB5 the guys actually went about measuring walls trying to formulate that there was another section that may be housing evicted HMs who could see them.
So it might be that was part of the reason the 'rabbit hole' or in this case the 'Narnia wardrobe' secret eavesdropping room/hiding spot' was never done?

But yes - this idea was definitely created and got as far as 'early planning stages' before.

Since this is the last BBUK I am really really hoping they do it. I always thought it was a clever thing.

[btw.. i have not seen all the BB UK seasons or followed all the other international ones so someone here might tell me someone DID do this once before in a BB house??]

I just know it was up for BBUSA and never made it that time around.

Thatd be far too complex for the usual housemates. I mean the prison escape one was a cake with a key in, accompanied with detailed instructions on how to use it :p (And even that seemed to strain them mentally )

So while I think you guys are onto something, no doubt itll be part of a task with " GO TO THE BEDROOM , FIND THE SMALL BED WITH THE RABBIT ON AND LIFT THE MATRESS, THERES CAKE UNDER THERE FOR YOU " or something.

Emma Willis did however say in her tour that the bedroom was curtained off and strictly off limits for now..

Yeah I'm thinking this is true, I just don't think we'll get to see the housemates have to work it out. Which would spoil the fun considerably.

The way the theories are worked out on this forum would be amazing to watch on the show, people discussing things and coming up with their own conspiracy theories to try and prove etc - would be great!

If this was true then wouldn't it be just like every other bed? Why would you have one special bed different to all the others if its ment to be secret or am I missing something ?

The mattress probably will go down to the proper height etc, but the other clues to make people think!

I just spotted the Rabbit picture on it haha nice!

Yeah.. something is going on with that weird bed/chair and it even looks mechanical (see plastic housing) making me think it raises up by the push of a secret button??

or maybe if past housemates enter the house they sleep on it as it could be considerd a luxury bed

Well, there are handcuffs on the other bed. At the top.
Does that mean that the person who gets that bed will be punished? Haha, I'm just kidding.
Anyway, yeah. I agree. Plus, wasn't there a teaser or something that said that "Big is Small"? Or was it "Small is Big"? I can't remember.
But, Alice does go really big when she eats things, and small.

I think it's weird the rabbit being there too. The bed looking quite small, raised too. hmm...I think we might be in for a treat! I can't wait to see if this works out to be something like "the rabbit hole"

Whoever gets that bed, is going to be swallowed up by the hole and never to be seen again ;) - well, not by the housemates anyway.

Would be funny if whilst a housemate was sleeping on it they pressed a button and the whole mattress just falls down, they'd **** themselves... Or is that illegal incase they die or something?
