Is it worth paying for the live feed?

I'm not sure. I used to watch the Internet feed last time it was on and it was always buffering and going off.

I know Internet speeds have improved since then but what do others think? :)

Yeah you should get it!

eye sea 09-06-2010 02:43 PM

I might wait to see what the others with a free pass say about it. The difference is there's is free so they're not bothered much if the coverage breaks down.:)

Enid 09-06-2010 02:44 PM

If you can afford it, yeah, it's worth it. £15 over 3months...

bettiepage 09-06-2010 02:45 PM

I wouldn't pay/won't pay.

The money doesn't bother me. It's the consistency of the coverage that's the worry. ;)

I paid for it as I think 14.99 is good value. However, if you're sensible and don't mind missing a couple of days, I would probably recommend waiting to see the reviews of others first before parting with your cash.

Much of the online streaming I've watch in recent times have been fantastic (bbc live, ppv football matches, etc) and a marked improvement from the technology from just a couple of years ago. But obviously, it depends on who is responsible for the stream. Hopefully C4 have got experienced people in and set it up properly.

Well I have a free pass so I'll be able to review the LF.

It also has a 15min delay.

eye sea 09-06-2010 03:10 PM

Yeah, I think I will wait for the reviews. I have a fear there will be some buffering particularly when a lot of people are viewing. The live feed SHOULD have been on one of those 'unused' E4+ channels.

See what people think of it first then buy it
£15 for 3months is a great deal

15 pounds? Are you poor or something? And it won't buffer.

How can you be certain? In my area, BBC iplayer buffers, and that's FREE!

Well, forget it then. Buy 1 or 2 new DVD's and forget whole Big Brother.

Yes as it only 15 pounds for the whole lot.

You could test it on a 1.99 pay one

Jackie 09-06-2010 06:36 PM

15 pounds is a good deal what else would you spend it on that lasts you 3 months lol.
