We all got to attached to the hopefuls and were dissapointed guys.
 

The launch had potential but tbf, the reason why I think it wasn't as good as it could of been was this:


Channel 4 as you know spoilt the series basically.

The Housemates knew eachother before they went in.
Groups have been formed along with relationships.
People have formed opinions on eachother backstage.

And,

We all seen the shortlist, we all had an idea of who we wanted to get in.

We all got really close with some of the hopefuls just through a picture, we grew attached to the idea such and such would be a housemate and when they weren't it sort of made you feel like the good people weren't being picked even though it was just like any other year.



As much as I loved all the hopefuls such as Emma, Alister and Adam etc I would of prefered it had we not of met them or heard of them.

Because then we wouldn't of got our hopes up even no matter how hard we tried not too.

And then we wouldn't of been dissapointed.

I noticed alot of you disagreed with me in my last thread about the launch but agreed with me on the housemates not being that good.. This is what I was getting at basically.

Does anyone else agree, we would of apperciated this years bunch more if we hadn't met the short list?

We knew it was a bad idea as soon as it was mentioned, has some good points but prefer how it was.

I didn't bother looking at the shortlist but not so happy with what they've put in, hopefully we'll get a few more.

The shortlist was silly and has just left people viewers disappointed over who didnt get in. Don't see the point of doing that.

And some of the choices seem lame. Too many cheap lookalikes; Beyonce, Beckham and Jordan...all very obvious. Lazy, very lazy.

I quite liked the idea and thought it made for a good launch. It's your own faults for getting attached.

Yes Patrick I agree. I wish I hadn't even looked at the potential housemates now because I became too attatched to Faith and Sheena, and Ive ended up very disappointed :bawling:

I was getting really worked up because the people i liked didnt get picked and was even going to turn off!

I feel like now with these housemates i wont like them as much as i would if we didnt see the potentials cause now all i think is someone else should be in there over you ://

I suppose we will just have to get on with i and forget the true great people :(

I agree, I wanted Shane, Lee or at least one of the Emma's to enter the house and them not getting picked made me disappointed and spoilt it now i'm left feeling like it's not going to be good. lol

aome of the choices like ben and dave corin seem pretty pointless to me It would have been perfect if 3 others were chosen instead of those 3 in my opinion

WTF? Channel 4 haven't killed the series, it's day friggin' one! THe cast are great atm, really enjoying listening to them talking. If you're going to whinge all summer then piss off.

I'm not disappointed. I'm loving most of the HMs. You just like something to moan about. ;)

they got it 100% right apart from dave. even the lookalike hms are great, john is fit as ****, coirin is funny and rachael is such a bitch i love her already!

They are in there now.... Forget how they they got there and let's enjoy their time in the last BB... On C4 that is.????????

to be honest i think everyone is being to judgemental..its the first day guys...every year i say i like it but i grow to love it...i think this year will eb amazing and apart from like 2 the rest are normal and not freaks...tbh i dont think we have had a normal bunch for ages and since bb5 or bb6 and it should br interesting to see how this works...ithink this series will rock

not reall because we don't know any of the housemates and really went on looks...the buch they picked could turn out to be an amazing cast

Like you said its Day 1, I gave one opinion and theres always the odd people that jump down your throat as if you've just insulted the entire programme in general.

If people who wouldnt have normally watched the show saw some of the people in the short list they liked the look of, they'd have been more likely to tune in. So it was probably all about the ratings rather than it being a twist

Anybody thats says they were attached to a complete stranger they only saw a wallet size photo of 24 hours ago must be off their bloody rockers thats just worrying you must have issues.

I loved the different way they have introduced the housemates to us it keeps it interesting if they were still doing things the same way as they did in bb1 the show would have died years ago. FACT

I notice its the same old whingers that are moaning as usual the same people moan about the house they moan about the diary room they moan about the chair they moan about the live feed they moan about davina they moan about bblb they moan about bbbm they will moan about the tasks they will moan about the twists and it just gets bloody boring after a while get a life.
