Does anyone agree with me that Dave is NOT like Steven Baldwin?

I see many threads, both on here and DS, that are comparing Dave to Steven Baldwin, and I have to disagree. Dave has not been forcing his religion onto people like Steven Baldwin did. Dave's 'preachy advice' to Sunshine on the HL show just now was meant well, it wasn't forceful, and it was just friendly advice. He didn't force it down her throat. He even asked if he could say something before he started.

He seems like a really good natured guy and I don't understand the hate for him. I hope his popularity slowly gets better and he ends up doing quite well. This happened with David BB10, who was hated at first, but ended up finishing 3rd in the final. I'm not saying Dave this year has a chance of making the final (although who knows ? - it is too early to tell afterall), but I am REALLY hoping that Dave doesn't get put up for eviction this week as he deserves a much longer stay.

I know there have been threads about how Dave's religion is a mockery to 'proper' religion - I'm not talking about that, I am talking about Dave AS A HOUSEMATE, so let's keep this thread about Dave as a housemate, and not his religious views outside the house

yeah i do agree tbh. they're both nice guys though, but prefered Steven.

I preferred Steven as well even though Dave is a nice guy, he kinda creeped me out a little for some reason (I know Steven was creepy too) but on tonights H/L show I think I've warmed to him more :)

Stephen is a bit of a weirdo but sometimes your best friend is the one who tells you the truth. Stephen tried to do that. Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes Stephen told the truth in an annoying way.

I don't think David is 'evil' but he is not helping and what you saw today was him being deluded.
If you listened to his 'advice' it was becoming about himself, his powers, his authority and about how he has supernatural powers. How he was psychic.
David was also making up things about 'generational curses' and then appealing to Sunshine's need to be 'special'.

Don't worry.. he will do more of this and notice how often it will become about him being a prophet, him having special knowledge from God, him distributing supernatural, him being an authority.

Uh.. David was a drug user and alcoholic and the difference is that Stephen got sober.
David has not.
David becomes highly intoxicated and into slobbering slurring, tweaks out, freaks out and goes into raving states of high ecstasy by using psychosomatic cult techniques. David likes free drugs to render him drunk and useless.

Stephen is over drug-induced states. David loves and still needs drug-induced states.

Stephen Baldwin was a much nicer person than Dave if you ask me, despite being really warped.
