Robert Green

The front pages are ridiculous some of the things there saying, its a shame on him because he is a good keeper and it was a mistake. In the same match 3 players at the other end missed open goals.
I think its unfair on him

King Gizzard 13-06-2010 05:56 PM

Yeah I was gutted for him, I'd kinda like to see him in the next game now to proove himself, afterall its against Algeria and their attack is about as good as a car with no wheels

Stacey. 13-06-2010 05:58 PM

yep i totally agree. the papers are being well harsh on him.

Jase 13-06-2010 05:59 PM

He said he is going to bounce back in the next game if he is in.
If he dont get chosen now i think its the end of his international career and its a shame

I agree i feel sorry for how much stick hes getting the joke i got did make me laugh though..

"if only john terry had seen robert greens wife bridge's"

lol.

Anyway i still think Hart.

Hart is the best keeper... expereience.. pressure who cares thats his job he has to put up with it..

James and green havent been in anything in recent years, at least hart was in the u21 world cup (and played amazing very cool under pressure)

Look at germanys goal keeper tonight, same age or 1 year older than hart, and only winning his 6th cap for germany..

Give the young guy a chance.

We all want to go buy a Robert Green top - our new hero:hugesmile:

Hansen was quite amusing yesterday doing the post-match analysis on the Algeria vs Slovenia game............"It's obviously the ball's fault" (said he of Slonenia's match-winning strike making making a thinly guarded reference to Robert Green)

BBfanUSA 16-06-2010 02:54 PM

Yeah I'm american and I am saying let the poor guy go. Even tho i laughed at the goal becasue he failed miserably. And besides didn't someone scored into thier own country's net with a header?

Ninastar 16-06-2010 02:56 PM

Its pathetic, He made a freaking mistake. I bet you every single player on that pitch made a mistake that day aswell.

Twilight 16-06-2010 02:58 PM

Yeahhh ikr i don't see why they have to so harsh on him :P

Mark 16-06-2010 03:19 PM

Most of the jokes are just crossing the line.
