The Secret
 

I wasnt quite sure what she meant about 'The Secret' when she was talking about it on launch night, however shes been talking about it on LF with Shabby and Caoimhe and it sounds like a good motivational technique.

The idea that you will get what you ask for, so if youre negative about something, for example saying 'I wont make it', then you wont, but if you say 'I will make it' and stay positive; you have more chance to. I often doubt myself and feel negative about things so I might just give this a go. :spin:

Ife seems quite knowledgeable like Ben and genuinely a nice woman, shame shes getting involved with a bit of bitching because the people she hangs with are. At night her, Shabby and Caoimhe make a great trio with interesting convos.

Remember, ask, believe, recieve. ;)

I wonder why its called 'The Secret' though; as in the secret to sucess? xD

There's some official name for it,I can't remember it but we learned all about in RE(rather than learn about religion). It does work,I wrote out a list of things I wanted in the next 6 months and they all happened.

It's the law of attraction! Knew I knew it.

Ohhh I see! She did mention this too but I didnt know if they were connected or not. Something about you can only want to be out of debt, if you are in debt in the first place, so the universe gives you what you want by putting you in debt so you can want to be out of debt. Confusing but I like the idea! :laugh:

My Mum has the book, and theres a DVD thing about people who believe in the secret, it's just thinking positive will bring positivity to you, and vice versa. If you think negative it will bring negativity to you, like when Shabby kept saying she was gunna lose the task, Ife told her to stop saying that.
