It depends what they did really. and how close I was. I would do it if I liked them, but I don't know if I would if it was family

Not Crimes to property though.. I wouldn't call if i saw someone i knew rob a jewellery store etc.. Should have had better security and fair play to the people who got away with it

My close friends, never, no matter what the crime. People I knew and liked, depends on the severity. I'd only report them for murder (or attempted murder) or rape. Something like that.

Like others have said if it was something serious then I probably would although I'd never report a family member or a best friend. Although I doubt any of my friends are really capable of anything serious really.

If it was someone I knew who wasn't a friend or family member and there was a reward involved then I probably would unless it was something minor that they did. I would without a thought if it was serious though.

If I saw them mugging an old lady, I probably wouldn't like them much anymore.

If the crime was serious, yes I would like most others have said, if not I would ask them what happened but not phone in.
