How has JJ still remained fairly popular?
 

He's popularity has dropped but he still remains more popular than a good few of the housemates in a lot of polls and with the bookies eg: Ife.keeva,dave,govan,sunshine

How can this be?

He says it as it is - I like the lad.

He's good looking. Many viewers want to dislike Rachael no matter what.

Thats pretty much why he's still popular with some. They seem to confuse honesty(which he isn't btw) with rude aggression.

Because hes not fake liek cry baby rachel, and not boring like half of them.

Hes okay, but hes not one of my favs.

Plus hes the new member of the best group, the king ben, moley, sunshine and wizard dave :)

If he was ugly i bet he would at the bottom of the betting odds and polls.

If he was a woman, (s)he woul'd be the most hated human being in this century.

He was popular before he turned into Mr Angry.

It has nothing to do with his looks, his fans could easily turn it around and say the guy haters are jealous of him but we are not that shallow!

Rachael proved his point last night as soon as she received her suitcase anyway.

The female population. Some of them seem to think that being rude and agressive is the mark of a "real man" so they like him for "telling it like it is".

He wasn't Mr Angry then and seemed like an alright guy.

Same with the bookies, he was favourite, now he isn't.

He will not have the same numbers once the polls are reset.

Absolutely spot on, on the show,as it seems to be in real, judging by how much abuse the women on the show get and how easy people seem to find it to forgive men their behaviour, it's one rule for one and one rule for another depending on what sex you are.

Sadly, amazingly, this seems to be a view held mostly by women; the ones this kind of thing affects negatively.

If JJ was a woman I'd still agree with him completely. Everything about Rachael pisses me off and I'm glad someone has stood up to her and shown her what she really is.
