Anyone else feel like Caoimhe is an unfulfilled promise?
 

All the stuff she said about herself in her VT she hasn't lived up to. She hyped herself up to be more than she is just to get in the house. There could have been someone really cool in her place.

She said she's rebellious and like gave the impression that she's nuts and excitebale and all that, and yeah I do prefer the mellow insightful ones like Ben, and Ife actually, it's a shame she hangs out with Shabby and Caoimhe so much, but yeah anyway Caoimhe is not like that either. She is totally boring and just... she seems like a nice person but she's not interesting and to be honest she is sheepish she follows Shabby all the time and maybe relies on Shabby to make her appear really cool, or like one of the 'in crowd'.

I just think she is an unfulfilled promise.

She's this year's most pointless housemate, that's for sure.

Yay so I'm not the only one. I don't hate her, I just feel like... she's a waste of a place.

i can tell that she is by far the prettiest girl in that house...but her weird look and style dosent help her at all...id much rather see her in nuts than chunky rachel

i agree but i find ife an ever bigger waste of space i forgot she was in there until i saw her sat in the bathroom on her own a while ago i dont think she has spoken for 3 days.

Yeah but Ife has a noticeable personality. Caoimhe doesn't really express any personality. She's just this wooden thing that is always around Shabby. Caoimhe doesn't really even talk much to anyone else. Ife is more individual.

God i forgot all about ife...says it all about her really dont it lol

The little group they have needs to be broken up. There are three personalities there and we are only seeing one.

What's with all the hate? Caoimhe's brilliant. Sure, she's hanging around with Ife and Shabby a lot, but she's still a good HM; people need to give her a chance. No one's complaining about the Mario, Ben and Dave group. :rolleyes:

How is she brilliant?

She is one of the more likeable girls, but apart from being pleasant and very well dressed, there really isn't much to say about her so far. As cliched as it sounds, the less attractive Corin and Josie have bags more personality.

It hasn't been long enough yet for me to judge. Sure she's not the bitch she portrayed in her VT, but that happens at least once every year so we have to expect it by now, and the bitch role is still filled, just less predictably, in Sunshine, Govan, and JJ.

And there's still plenty of room to evolve into a HBIC...remember Rex, who was mute for who knows how many weeks until becoming the central figure. I think Kiva has this ability, because she does have genuinely interesting moments on the feeds they just never make air.

beauty is in the eye and all that... I personally don't go for Caoimhe's horsey teeth and angular looks, let alone her 80's Brigitte Nielsen hair and whatever.

Frankly, I don't see Caoimhe becoming a woman-hating bully in the later weeks.

She's made me lol, I like her trio, she's just not a bitch. And I want to see what happens with her and Shabby. She's not Jade Goody, but you can't say she's Maysoon yet. I do think (in most cases) you have to give it more than a week before saying someones a waste, but she is definitely different from her VT. :dance:

My Rex point wasnt about woman-hating bullying, it was about being a sleeper who takes over the storyline later, like so many people have :P

She definitely has certain, not so much mannish, but androgynous features.

Caoimhe is not eager to please everyone in the way Maysoon was so there might be some life left in her. I'm finding it hard to imagine her personality shining with so many other characters in there.

I forget she is there most of the time!
