Anelka Sent Home From World Cup Finals!

World Cup 2010: Nicolas Anelka denies foul-mouthed tirade at Raymond Domenech
France striker Nicolas Anelka has denied reports that he directed a foul-mouthed outburst at coach Raymond Domenech before being kicked out of the French World Cup squad.

Anelka admitted having a "heated discussion" with the coach at half-time of the goalless draw with Mexico on Thursday, but denied a report in L'Equipe that he had told Domenech "go screw yourself, dirty son of a *****".

"I certainly had a heated discussion with the coach but it happened in the sanctity of the dressing room, between the coach and I, in front of my team-mates and the team's staff.

"This should never have left the dressing room," Anelka told France-Soir newspaper.

"I insist that the words which have come out in the press are not my words," he said, although he declined to reveal exactly what he had said.

The Chelsea striker said: "I don't know who it helps to spread this sort of stuff around, but certainly not the players.

"It has never been my aim to destabilise the France team, which is an institution I respect," he said.

France captain Patrice Evra added to the dispute by claiming that there is "a traitor" among France's World Cup staff who must have leaked details of Anelka's expletive-filled rant to a newspaper.

Evra says the leak: "came from someone in this group, who wishes the French team harm" and that "the problem isn't Anelka, it's the traitor among us."

The French Football Federation (FFF) said 31-year-old Anelka would leave South Africa on Saturday after he refused to apologise for his "unacceptable" remarks.

His tirade came after Domenech told him to stop straying out of position against Mexico following a first half when Anelka had barely threatened the Mexican goal, according to L'Equipe.

Domenech replaced Anelka with Andre-Pierre Gignac for the second 45 minutes, but Mexico won 2-0 with two second-half goals, leaving France – the winners in 1998 and the runners-up four years ago – staring elimination in the face.

Anelka said he accepted the decision to exclude him from the squad and he wished the rest of the players luck for their final Group A match against South Africa, which they must win handsomely to have any chance of staying in the World Cup.

wow, that team are a mess.

Nemo123 19-06-2010 07:37 PM

A traitor in the camp, eh?

Curiouser and curiouser.

Captain.Remy 19-06-2010 07:39 PM

Yep. This is pretty much why rugby is and always will be a thousand times better than football.
Whether you like the coach or not, you've got to show some respect. If I ever said the half of what Anelka said, my coach would have kicked the **** out of me.

This team is a mess anyway. It hasn't properly trained in two years, they have done nothing at all. They spent more time in brothels and nightclubs rather than training. They're way too much paid, they live in a complete world of luxury. It went wild since we won the world cup in 1998: first round in 2002 and runner-up in 2006 (but we know how it ended)

Some people will get fired when they get back from South Africa.

Surely these fellows don't have to pay for it?

You didn't hear about the massive scandal ? Ribery and Govou had paid sex with a 16 y-o prostitute as part of "Ribery's birthday present from the French team". It's been a massive controversy in France for the last month. This girl, Zahia, is now a star, the producers of French BB want her in so badly but she's too famous now. Ribery is married by the way.

Yep, all true.

So they're actually good at putting their dick on a *****'s hole but not to score a ****ing goal in the biggest sports event.

Locke. 19-06-2010 07:53 PM

Is 16 not legal in France?

And I hadn't heard any of this over here... Poor prostitute having to go with someone as ugly as Ribery

16 is legal to have sex but being a prostitute AND being under-age (still 18) is very nasty.

French 16 yo's are probably a little more sexually active than Irish 16 yo's.

Most frogs lose their viginity by the time they're 12, (I've heard).

LMAO ! I'm not going to deny because that'd make me a liar but 12 is a bit young (I'd personally go for 15, I think it's pretty much the average)

Nemo123 19-06-2010 07:59 PM

Well, it was just hearsay from a French pal I had when I was a kid.

Captain.Remy 19-06-2010 07:59 PM

Happy Birthday Ribery, please welcome Zahia, your BDay present !

I dunno, but she does something funny to my mind.

GiRTh 19-06-2010 08:11 PM

If she's 16 then when did she get the puppies done?

Recently. She turned 18 this year. The "Birthday" happened two years ago.
She always says being a prostitute is dead cool, she enjoys her money to buy stuff she likes such as luxury stuff and to help her family. She claims she doesn't have a pimp and she's doing her job on her own, no one takes her money. She wants money to achieve her dream which is opening a beauty salon. She gives herself three years in the business before considering a regular life.

GiRTh 19-06-2010 08:13 PM

I dont blame him

Captain.Remy 19-06-2010 08:21 PM

Who can blame him to be honest...

Locke. 19-06-2010 08:29 PM

My birthday is coming up soon, I won't be happy unless someone flys her over here.

30stone 19-06-2010 08:42 PM

In the last picture.. she does look like a bloke.. lol!

Anyway.

I blame the manager entirely!

He is a **** manager no interest no desire.

Left out gourcuff and decided to play ribery in a position he hates?

Leaves out henry..

Didnt even take nasri or benzema?

He is crap.
