Am I Only One Who Dislikes Ben?
 

I did not like Ben when he first entered the house! Then he proved to be exactly how I expected he was like. Now he has Mario and Dave around his finger, and his ego is off the roof. It's kinda lame Mario and Dave follow him around like dogs. Kinda liked Mario, not so much anymore!

Ben always talks down to people. He was very demeaning to Sunshine and Shabby. He is very judgmental, self absorbed, egotistical, mean, insulting to people in both subtle and direct ways, he bitches too much, he is not good looking, even though he truly believes he is. Ben obviously had a few surgeries on his face, now he looks like a disfigured Ken doll. He is so full of himself, acts like he's better than anyone else, which totally irritates me.

Ben has no ability apologize for any wrongdoing. He thinks he's never wrong. His apology to Sunshine was total bullsh*t. Sunshine was too smart for his subtle demeaning remarks. When Ben kinda forced himself to apologize to Sunshine, he couldn't help himself and threw some more insults. He kinda reminds me of Rex from BB9.

No I can't stand him neither. His voice goes through me and I find him very patronising and hypocritical.

Didn't he say he wouldn't get on with Sunshine because he "likes foie gras and veal"?

He bitches more than the girls, and then acts like the victim when he's called on it.

Mario is doing himself no favours, following him around like a puppy. It's obvious Ben isn't hot for him and barely listens to what he says.

They will ratchet up the hatred for him over time, but for now - as usual - they are concentrating on the women in the house.

I don't find him offensive or bitchy or mean at all! I honestly think he is a genuinely nice guy. Sunshine accusing him of being nasty to her was just bonkers but he is too nice to tell her so, and instead pussyfooted around her, apologising and stuff..
(and I think he is kinda hot! :blush:)

He has turned on Sunshine because she is one of the few people who has dared stand up to him. Wimps like Mario and Dave will just be sheep.

Sunshine needs to lighten up and find a sense of humour! She is overly sensitive.

She does have a sense of humour, a self depreciating kind. Ben's humour in contrast is always aimed at other people.

Not at all, it was Ben who was following her around she wanted to avoid him. He did the same with Shabby (I don't like Shabby but I have to admit that).

Yeah only because he didn't understand the mentalness of the situation.. He wanted to understand and apologise, but he (like me) found the whole thing ridiculous

I have been saying this a long time, but I am glad others are finally getting it.

Mario is the same, both are slimey contrived manipulative snakes, it's why they are such good friends.

I think he's playing the game more than misunderstanding the situation. He tries to provoke and then tries to twist it around on his victim claiming they started it.
