He exclusively told the Gazette: "It's going to be a death which is going to affect a couple of our significant characters." Phil, who's recently taken over from Kim Crowther, said he was excited about producing Corrie in its 50th year. "We have huge plans so that it really feels Corrie is 50 years young."
