THERE will be a dead body on the Street this summer, reveals new Corrie producer Phil Collinson.

He exclusively told the Gazette: "It's going to be a death which is going to affect a couple of our significant characters."

Phil, who's recently taken over from Kim Crowther, said he was excited about producing Corrie in its 50th year.

"We have huge plans so that it really feels Corrie is 50 years young." And viewers can expect a "more cinematic" and "slightly pacier" feel with the move to HD.

Doesn't Natasha kill herself though away from the street?

It's obviously Natasha because I read that her leaving storyline would have a big effect on the street;).. then there was all this attempted suicide stuff being leaked!
